Anyone coming to Atlanta for Hotlanta, RaftRace....

I live here, will be attending some of the festivities.....

Skipping the raft race will be at the main party and after party.

Good to see there are a few Atlanta boys on here. I spend about half my time in Atlanta...the other in Nashville.

I read that they are a little worried about bacteria buildup in the Chattahoochie for this River thing...anyone heard about that?

They say that every year down here but it never stops anyone from enjoying the hootch. I think its just overblown hysteria to be honest.

That's good to know...I guess if people were dropping dead from river germs we would have heard about it.

This will be my first River Expo....looking forward to it.

It was GREAT!! I wish I had known earlier someone else from here was going to be there.

what race down the hootch

I have lived here for 24 years and i'm not sure exactly what u r talking about. I live now about 4 miles from the hootch in alpharetta. Is this the gay float down the river or something completely different? If it is a big party down the river when is it and i'll be there!!!

talked about making the trip, but having quite mapped it out for this year regarding HotLanta. Hoping on S. Beach for new years though... planning on being naughty to ring in '02.
