Question for Mr.X regarding potassium

Hi Mr.X, i wanted to ask you a question about potassium. Basically im using Minoxidil to prevent hairloss, and im getting water retention from it and it makes my face a bit bloated, along with my ankles a bit, ect. I read that potassuim and water is great to get rid of water retention. I used to drink 2 Myoplex shakes per day and they had like 625mg of potassuim in each shake.

So would i be able to safely supplement with 1000-1500mg's of potassuim daily to rid of the water retention caused by the minoxidil? I dont drink the myoplex anymore, so thats why i want to take the potassium caps.

If you could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Potassium pills are found mostly in 99mg ( think that's about as high as the FDA will allow ) so if your going to use the pill form make sure you spread it out over the day to avoid hot spots in your stomache .

1000- 1500mg is even on the low side for some guys , the theme seems to be to load up and replace lost stores then go on a maintaince dose afterwards .

As far as the interaction with minoxidil i can't help you there .....
