Putting children on leashes

I can't tell you how many times I have had little kids run in front of me while I'm walking, worse when I have my hands full - typically in a store and since children tend not to look before running and when they hit something they bounce off and keep running (or fall over and start wailing). I don't think it's so much of leashing the kid as much as putting a little fear in them to behave properly and frankly I find it irritating to have little kids running around screaming like it's play time while in a store. So if a parent is at their wits end trying to keep they child in line I'm all for leashes if that is what it takes.

For some reason my 3 brothers and I never screamed in a public place, never threw hissy fits, and watched where we were going. If we didnt we apologized to the folks we got in the way of.

Maybe its because if we didnt we would get smacked on the ass pretty hard.

So I took the wife to the zoo today to see the Zebras and such when I made an observation:

Putting leashes on your kids is fucking stupid.

Maybe Im old fashioned, but what happened to holding the childs hand? Carrying the kid? Renting one of those radio flyer fuckin wagons they give out for a buck? Letting them walk right in front of you while keeping a close eye on them? If your argument to that is that its hard with multiple kids, well my response is that youre probably either a messican teenage or a lowlife if you have three or four kids who are all at the age that they would "need" a leash in the first place. Unless of course you had triplets or some similar situation.

To be fair, the majority of people I saw doing this were whitey trashes and messicans (all the kids were obese, too). Didnt see a single blaque guilty of this...they were more for the hand holding or letting your kids run around wildly and punching people in the back of the knee. Saw a few asians, but no indians and/or middle easterners. All of their kids were very well behaved. And they all had glasses.

Anyway, making the leash attach to some sort of animal backpack the kid wears (the backpack being a monkey and the tail being the leash) isnt kosher either.

You would never see my kids on leashes.

I got to pet the stingrays today, too.

Yeah and seeing zebra's in zoos is VERY narural!

Leashes are fucked-up, but do keep in mind the times in which we live. Lots more psycho's out there today because we increasingly victimize their behavior instead of criminalizing it.

There have and always been the same amount of psycho's. We just hear about them more now since the inception of better technology.

Back in 2001-2002 when all those kidnappings made headlines, people assumed that kids were getting stolen on every street corner when in actuality the amount of kidnappings were much lower than they were 5 years prior.

When I was young, three different times I had men pull up in cars, pull out their dicks and jerk off in front of me.
I was around 5, then again at 10 then again at 12.
These pervs are now on line.

In fact, I'm sure there are less sickos because they have better outlets now to get help and less kids are kidnapped because they are better educated on their safety

I believe there is more deviant/neurotic/psychotic behavior now than there was 50 or 100 years ago.

And today, when someone gets caught doing something deviant/neurotic/psychotic we decide they were victims themselves. That they had a difficult childhhood. That they were abused as children as well. That their mother never related to their inner child and didn't accept them for who they are. What ever happened to just "fucking crazy"?

My friend was raped by her Dad and everyone knew. She was told not to tell anyone.
In 4th grade, my teacher was molesting my friend. She only told us when she was 17.

Back then it was kept behind closed doors, today less so

Well victims who don't become predators themselves obviously deserve our help and sympathy.

And I don't mind helping victims who become predators either -- as a matter of fact I'd like to give them a nice place to work through their issues for 40 or 50 years. They'd have a place to sleep, three meals a day, some exercise time in the yard... Then when they relapse, it won't be by raping or killing someone else (unless they rape or shank another inmate but hey, that's the cost of doing time).
