Man this constant parade of pedos has really pushed me away from the Catholic Church.

Pfft. Priests have been fucking little boys for thlousahnds of years. Only lately cuz of the power of communication which has grown 1000x in a few decades the world is finding out about their sick ways.

Yup, technology has brought pedo's to the forefront and in some cases might have even made some folks pedos that otherwise wouldn't have made the effort.
Example - Look at how the internet chat rooms make it so easy for them to find someone anonymously and then try to meet up. Before chat rooms, one might have thought:
- I have to go out in public, hang around a school or bus stop and then try to coerce someone to come back with me and risk getting caught, not worth it. -
Now with internet chat - They log on anonymously (you have to do some digging to match IP with screen name) talk to various people without the fear of rejection, and then if they want to meet them they try to make the arrangements. -
It can't get much easier for pedo's

The fundamental problem is that many churches, including Catholic, condemn homosexuality. I think many priests are born gay, and become priests so they don't have to worry about why they're not with women. They're brought up to believe that if they act on Gay tencencies, they're going to Hell. Work a mind game like that on a boy, and you build yourself a future child rapist. Just my 2 cents worth. Shame on the Catholic and LDS faiths for furthering a wrongful belief that homosexuality is an evil choice, and ruining the lives of many good people. The LDS Church stated that Black people were descendants of Cain, and were barred from holding priesthood...... Until a Civil Rights group advised them that they were on the brink of being sued. Then suddenly, a prophet showed up and re-interpreted the Tablets, allowing them to abandon the bigotry.

My former Junior High school principal got busted for trying to hook up with a 13 year old girl online. He got sentenced to life on "home confinement". I think the bastard should be sent to prison and suffer real punishment.

Putting all joking aside, I've read qualified reports stating that pedophilia is a genetic disease which a man (or very seldom a woman) is born with, and cannot be cured. No punishment or penalty can fix it in society either. Therefore, the only answer as of today, is to develop a test for pregnant women to get, and abort the pregnancy if it has a guaranteed pedophile gene. If one is born, he will either molest, or he will live a psychologically disturbed life, trying to hold off acting on the twisted drive.
