Yotas kickass, my '88. Retro style

88 is the year right before they changed body styles isn't it? because my first vehicle ever was a 1989 toyota 4X4 truck. That was by far the best and funnest vehicle I ever drove. You can't beat a Yota.

How many miles you got on that thing?

I got it last year from a guy who's girlfriend got knocked up. She didn't think driving the Hummer was good for the baby, because it is lowered and rides rough.(She also said it was a pimp car. lol) So, he bought her the SUV behind it, and sold it to me.

Yea, last year of that body. I have no idea, odo reads 58k but the previous owner said something about the speedo cable being broke before he owned it so its anyones guess. Didnt matter though, I test drove it for about 45 minutes and made sure the 4x4 worked, no problems. Its the best condition 88 Ive ever seen so I had to have it. Turns out someone monkeyed with the motor because it threw a rod through the block a couple months ago and now I just got another 22re motor out of a 91 truck and shop guys are working on installing it. Motor was only $450 and "supposedly" has 80k on it but it was an internet deal so Im not trusting that. I think I will still come out ok after this motor situation is over, I really love that truck dood.

Toyota needs to spin up production of the 22RE engine again, and put it into
a regular cab 4x4 pickup. For those of us that don't need fast 0-60 times or
the 4 doors BS.

My 85 was awesome offroad due to it being so light, and the 5 speed and 2.2
4cyl engine meant good gas milage and OK performance..
