Because women such as this are, well, fat! That is why the abs look as they do on people such as this.

Diet diet diet.

It was not my intention to call you fat.

However I cannot argue fit vs. fat w/no pictures to look at, that would be pointless.

fupa not fupus lol... FUPA = fat upper p*ssy area. I would never use that term though... :P And ps you sound pretty damn fit at 13%. Thats stellar bf% for female.

That is pretty insulting. I actually have problems with my lower abdominal area. Its not too bad but its where I gain weight if any. I dont look fat at all but I just have a little excess fat there and its hard to get rid of it. :rolleyes:

I think it must be mainly because of your diet, but I also read that hormones or stress can cause women to have problems with having a flat stomach. Some people just gain weight in certain areas though or it could be genetic.

His point is that excess fat, especially in the abdominal area, is DIET related. Many women, and men, have problems with excess abdominal fat. The ONLY way to get rid of it is through diet. You (in the general sense, not you specifically) will *always* have excess abdominal fat if your diet isn't CLEAN - not so-so, not healthy, not average, not "good" - it needs to be CLEAN. Consistently clean.

I don't think SC was trying to put anyone down, he is simply stating a fact about diet.

posture posture posture. the posture for most people is atrocious. i know many a man who are extremely low in body fat, but have the belly that pokes out. no, it's not entirely fat, but posture is VERY important.

diet your ass off, and work on your posture. do core strengthening exercises (squats, deads, etc.) and those will help too.

diet diet oh my god....I'm dieting so long time I have 108 lb. Right now it's 6 weeks I'm trying "clean diet" and instead of losing I gaining, it's t ru that my body is littel bit better I think stronger shoulders, littel more muscles but stomach...terrible, worse than before clean diet.

this is my diet plan:

1. 1/2 cup oatmeal + 4 egg whites + 1/2 piece of fruit
2. 20 g protein + unlimit vegetable {maybe 10 carbs} + 1/2 cup rice{sometimes I add 1/2 piece of fruit}
3. before workout 20 g protein + 1/4 cup oatmeal
4. protein shake {25 g} + vegetable
5. 30 g protein + unlimit. vegetable {maybe 15 carbs}
6. protein shake 20 g
As fat source almonds or 1 teas PB or flax.seed

before this diet I don't eat too much protein, I ate 2 piece low carb bread, sgar free jam, 2 piec of ham, FF cheese, yoghurt, fruit 2-3 piece daily, a lot of vegetables {lettuce, corn, peas, tomatoes..} but no too much fat source.

so help me explain why by my clean diet is it no OK and I'm gaining.!!!! I feel heavily, my clothes is tighter.
please whyyyyyyy I'm so unhappyyyyy!!! :worried:

I can't see the pics so I cannot comment directly about it. I can say that I have to stay at an extremely low body fat level (under 5%) or my stomach will appear fat. You may have the same problem. For you I would recommend lowering your body fat level more to see if the fat goes away. Being female, you cannot lower it too much though. If it takes a very low body fat level to take away the fat then your only alternative may be lipo.

You're not fat !

I'd say that you have a slight arch in your lower back than "pushes" your belly

I saw her pics and I dont think her stomach is fat or anything although there could be more muscle. Anyways she is looking a little on the skinny side if you ask me and I wouldnt suggest losing anymore weight. What kind of abdominal workout do you do, Keliska? To me it looks like you dont really need to lose any more abdominal fat but maybe incorporate a really good ab workout in your exercise rountine to gain more muscle and of course still watch your diet. You may not even be eating enough, it seems like that to me. Also you mentioned your clothes were tighter since you have eaten more of a clean diet. You may be just eating too much protein and too little carbs(from the looks of your diet).. and I would think that could cause some weight gain or possibly you gained some muscle..who knows. Im just thinking you definitly dont need to lose anymore overall bodyfat, but just do a lot of stomach work...not regular situps.

mabye she needs to do the colon cleanse. It is mind boggling how much undigested food can accumulate inside the intestines. They say as much as 15 lbs can stay in there and not come out.

thanks girls I know that I'm boring, I still writeing stupid stuff and is it all around. My boyfriend is sick of me I know, but I must give all stuff altogether and be sure that what I'm doing is right.
To my belly stuff...I haven't baby.
And I don't know somebody who can give me some advice about this stuff becouse of I write here, you are smart girls.

keliska,

let me tell you. from a guys perspective I think that you look fabulous. Maybe you dont have the perfect proportions, but not many people do.
It doesnt look like you arent trying hard enough, it seems like you a just a bit shy genetics wise, of having the 'perfect' body.

But being perfect really doesnt matter, because If I saw you on a beach, I'd think your body was fine looking.

Daisygirl is correct, I was NOT trying to be insulting but was merely making a point about diet.

However, Keliska, you are FAR FROM FAT! If anything, you look to be about 10-15 lbs. underweight. I think the way you stand makes your lower ab stick out, but even then, I never would have noticed anything at all if you didn't say anything. Even looking after you mentioned it, I barely see any "protruding" at all. You've got nothing to worry about fat wise.

It would be un-healthy however to lose more weight and keep getting thinner. Just my $.02.

Because you have not found the diet that works for YOU. Every single body is slightly different. You apparently have not found the perfect combination of foods FOR YOU. Play with the foods, the amounts, the timing and see what helps give you the results you want.

Also, knowing your posts, you seem to be confused on what your goals are. Sometimes I read your posts and you want to gain muscle, then in another post you want to lose weight/fat. It is HARD TO DO BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. Eating to lose fat and eating to gain muscle are two totally different things. You need to figure out what your goals are and eat for that.

keliska -- Looking at your pics I see NO pooch or poochy belly at all.....it looks more like you are arching your back to push your stomach out farther or standing sway-backed......

keliska, i've just seen your pics, tanned and svelte. :p

maybe a colon cleanse WOULD make you feel better mentally, because that seems to be the problem. your mental body image. try this :)

ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD :)

thanks a lot girls, I know I'm really boring person. You have tru that is eerythink in my head. Sometimes I wanted gaining muscle but at other side I'm worring about it, I'm afraid gaining because I know that was very difficult lost my 25 pounds. i 'm still dissatisfied with my body, I'm very focus on my stomach and instead of be happy from my results I'm unhappy. I must doing something with myself and I really will be must increase weight { muscle} because I'm lost my period too...it's almost over 1 year.{ I was at doctor..now I take BC pills for normal cyclus, but this months I'll stop it and I'll be see if my period comeing without "help pills"}

thanks girls

looks like spinal curvature to me.

I think you look good, a little on the skinny side but not to the point that it is unhealthy looking.

Try taking a Pilates class. The core strengthening you do there hits hard-to-train deep muscles of the abdomen, helps flatten the abdominal area, and really improves your overall posture. And it's a great way to vary your workout schedule and do something different!

That is great advice on how to improve posture and help with core strength. Pilates will help you learn the neutral pelvis and help you maintain a proper spinal alignment.
