keliska said:hi, explain me why some women have problem with lower abs...why I can't get down it it's no big but from the front I look good, but from the side i look like I have a fupus...okay it's not that big, but I hate my abs. what do you think??
~SC~ said:It was not my intention to call you fat.
However I cannot argue fit vs. fat w/no pictures to look at, that would be pointless.

~SC~ said:Because women such as this are, well, fat! That is why the abs look as they do on people such as this.
Diet diet diet.

keliska said:I don't think that I'm fat, I'm 5'6" and 108 lb BF around 13% so how do you explain me!!!!
Beth232004 said:That is pretty insulting. I actually have problems with my lower abdominal area. Its not too bad but its where I gain weight if any. I dont look fat at all but I just have a little excess fat there and its hard to get rid of it.![]()
Daisy_Girl said:His point is that excess fat, especially in the abdominal area, is DIET related. Many women, and men, have problems with excess abdominal fat. The ONLY way to get rid of it is through diet. You (in the general sense, not you specifically) will *always* have excess abdominal fat if your diet isn't CLEAN - not so-so, not healthy, not average, not "good" - it needs to be CLEAN. Consistently clean.
I don't think SC was trying to put anyone down, he is simply stating a fact about diet.

keliska said:diet diet oh my god....I'm dieting so long time I have 108 lb. Right now it's 6 weeks I'm trying "clean diet" and instead of losing I gaining, it's t ru that my body is littel bit better I think stronger shoulders, littel more muscles but stomach...terrible, worse than before clean diet.
this is my diet plan:
1. 1/2 cup oatmeal + 4 egg whites + 1/2 piece of fruit
2. 20 g protein + unlimit vegetable {maybe 10 carbs} + 1/2 cup rice{sometimes I add 1/2 piece of fruit}
3. before workout 20 g protein + 1/4 cup oatmeal
4. protein shake {25 g} + vegetable
5. 30 g protein + unlimit. vegetable {maybe 15 carbs}
6. protein shake 20 g
As fat source almonds or 1 teas PB or flax.seed
before this diet I don't eat too much protein, I ate 2 piece low carb bread, sgar free jam, 2 piec of ham, FF cheese, yoghurt, fruit 2-3 piece daily, a lot of vegetables {lettuce, corn, peas, tomatoes..} but no too much fat source.
so help me explain why by my clean diet is it no OK and I'm gaining.!!!! I feel heavily, my clothes is tighter.
please whyyyyyyy I'm so unhappyyyyy!!!![]()

Beth232004 said:You may be just eating too much protein and too little carbs(from the looks of your diet).. and I would think that could cause some weight gain
FigureSkater said:I think you look good, a little on the skinny side but not to the point that it is unhealthy looking.
Try taking a Pilates class. The core strengthening you do there hits hard-to-train deep muscles of the abdomen, helps flatten the abdominal area, and really improves your overall posture. And it's a great way to vary your workout schedule and do something different!
