Regarding the use of drugs in a recreational sense.

I was once all for live and let live. However this past week I have seen the real damage that the use of a highly additctive drug like crack has on a person and a family. It is a terrible sight to see someone torturing themselves to death this way. It is a terrible and extreme costs on society for someone to abuse drugs in a manner that causes themselves and their loved ones harm.

I don't care about your so called individual rights. You bring a child into the world that is addicted to a narcotic or opiate at the moment of birth and that child is already two to five years behind in life. That child has no real chance to make any kind of true life for themselves. For the most part these children are born with mental and physical abnormalities that are of an extreme nature.

I personally would strongly support any legislative effort that would bring about a death sentance to anyone using a highly addictive substance if they are pregnant and intend to carry the child to term. I would also like to see chemical or physical castron for fathers using these drugs, because they really aren't men, and I would also like to have the mothers tubes tied so that they can no longer do any harm to another life or society at large.

Wodin, obviously you haven't seen much crack addiction, have you? I can't believe that you would advocate the death penalty for a crack addict who carries a fetus to term. Obviously, you have no idea how addicting crack-cocaine is. Yes, I would prefer that no child would be born addicted to crack, but your position is so extreme. Many crack addicts are of low economic means. People at poverty level have much less access to birth control than middle- to high-income persons. So the risk of pregnancy is higher than for other economic groups.
Your type of hyperbolic, emotional pontificating becomes very tiresome. If you have been affected by an event, I would suggest looking for rationale solutions. Perhaps with rationale discourse, sensible solutions could surface.

Well it would have to be after in order to effect a crime. But for you bro anyone you see that you want to de-nut I think a job could be found in the ministries of government adjustment. (Like that...sounds benign but that's where we send people for denutting!)

Matt I'm all for letting someone destroy themselves with drugs as long as they are willing to get "Fixed". That would solve a hell of a lot of problems!

Who gives a fuck if they are poor? If you cannot afford birth control, then do not have sex. It is that damn simple. I am so sick of hearing these poor people blame their problems on their economic situation. So your are poor? Too fucking bad. It is you own damn fault. They would probably not be so poor if they were not wasting their money on drugs and alcohol. Their is simply no reason to be so damn poor. Anyone can find two, three, four jobs to make their families and their own lives better than they are now.

Last night tv had special on all the Chinese come here
to avoid persecution from the Chinese "population police"
They're forcing sterilization simply for having an "unauthorized" second child.
So they're jumping on smuggling ships to get here for freedom,
and we're gonna advocate implementing the same kind of measure here ?

Why not wack the parent who offers forth a child that they don't want and is addicted to an opiate at birth? It's nothing like china, I'm not saying that you should take out the children. I do think the adult should be made to pay! They're killing themselves anyway, let's just expedite the process!
