please help!

Hi my name is Sherry Im 19 yo and Im a dancer. I used to do powerlifting 1 year ago but gave up after I gained some quality muscle becuz I felt like overtrained. Im a dancer so I dance at least 3hrs/day sometimes 5-8hrs/day I couldnt powerlift I would be too tired. I managed to keep 80% of muscle I gained (about 8lbs) Im 5'2'' 130lbs I dont know my BF% but I look kinda muscular. I was trying to gain some muscle so now Im trying to cut...

meal 1: 1 slice wheat bread and some turkey (approx. 200cal)
meal 2: (same as meal 1)
meal 3: 1 slice wheat bread and 1 can tuna (approx. 200cal)
meal 4: (same as meal 3)
meal 5: whey protein + a handful of almonds
meal 6: one piece of fruit and big bowl of salad
meal 7: 1 hard boiled egg + 1 cup soy milk
(meal 8: 1 can of tuna if Im hungry)

i drink about 2L of water and 1L green tea
supplements Im taking...
- CLA
- Lipo 6 + Ephedrine HCL
- Multivitamin and minerals
- Glucosamine

does my diet look ok? Im thinking of going back to weight lifting becuz I dont do breakdancing as much as I did anymore. thanks.
 
So you were trying to gain, now your trying to cut, but you think you want to gain again.....did I get that right?

Welcome to EF :)

Can you go to www.fitday.com & figure out how many cals, how much protein, fats & carbs you get.

I would say you need more protein & more complex carbs - cut out all the bread & stick with yams, brown rice & oats.

It would be a good idea to go & get your body fat tested too.

I gained some good muscle on my upper body Im trying to cut before I start powerlifting again

I'm a bit confused.....

wouldn't you WANT the muscle????? Esp if your power lifting
 
Ok, I'm going to agree with Skittle's on the diet and logging. Once we can see a day or two of calories, fat, carbs and protein, it will be easier to get you going in the right direction.

It does look like you might need to increase your protein - try to eat at least your body weight in protein every day. If you want to cut, you're going to need a calorie deficit from your normal diet, too.

You need to eat 10-12 X's your body weight for fat loss.....you are on the right track :)

Now, up that protein & get rid of all that bread (choose complex carbs)

It's good to see you are eating some healthy fats, you should also have these before bed.

There are sample diets / ideas form logs that should help you with your diet.
