The altitude got me by surprise last time, and I was out of breath from walking a block and pulling the door open, LOL. But the firework show is supposed to be the best around...

And attention would-be burglars trolling the Internet for vacation announcements: My IP address traces back to a radio relay tower on a mountain about a mile from home, so take a picnic basket and and have a great hike

Hundreds...... And hundreds. Southern Ventura County has the biggest Hass avocado production of any place in the USA. I don't worry much about burglars anyway, since one neighbor is in the Cuban Mafia, and another is a retired FBI operative, and now runs a security technology company. And if they do break in, they can steal a 30-year-old TV set and some expired aspirin, if that's what they want, LOL...
