Was handed mine. Don't you love this freaking economy. Afforded me the chance to buy a house on my own with no second income at a low interest rate. Now it's cost me my only income. Given 90 days to find another job. But I go to the office and feel like punching my asshole boss in the mouth. It was about personality, I don't go out and drink with the boys and my golf game blows. I have invoiced 3 mill worth of work the past year at high margins. More than anyone else in my division. But corporate looked to cut heads.

So now I sit here shooting resumes out. Have a couple leads making a little over 10 more a year. But nothing is certain. Everything is upside down. This turmoil has turned my life upside down. Now I am playing with my money and seeing what I cannot gather for quick liquidity. Can I turn this house and do a little better than break even? I am so upside down in the car it isn't even funny.

This sucks. My company has gotten too big and can't compete with the low overhead competition. So instead of actually look at the problem, they cut the people actually doing the work. Screw 'em, hopefully in the next couple weeks I will be making a grand more a month and be able to walk in there and tell the ones that did not get the slip to make them jealous and second think. And moon my boss

Join the military, you dont get paid alot, start out at like 14 a year and move up from there, but your livin space, food, medical, dental and work clothes are paid for for as long as you are in, and now they pay 100% for college, and even if you fucked up in high school you can still get in as long as you have a diploma.....And once you have the military experience its alot easier to get a job in the real world considering you get out after 4 years or so....

That is the worst advice I have heard today, he went from a job he could afford a house on - and you suggest the Army lol, even after 20 years in he pobably wouldn't match what he was making, just send out an ass-load of resume's and find another job .

I have a college degree, I am 32 years old. I couldn't join the army if I wanted to. But everything will be allright. And I will walk out of this smelling like a rose. This freaking company just pisses me off. I actually have something in the works that I would basically be my own boss and my office would be the spare bedroom. With a substantial raise and better bonuses. Only scary thing is it is just starting up. But if you get in during groundbreaking and things go right the gamble pays off.

I just wanted to rant about the piss of crap I work for now. The same guy responsible for this, he had the balls to offer me tickets to Wensday nights ballgame today. God I wanted to..............
