Hi All,
Maybe this is the wrong place for this, but you dont know if you dont ask...
I am 48 and consider myself an intermediate lifter, lifting for the last 5 years-consistantly. I do it cuz I like being strong and it makes me feel good and look good.
So this last year has not been the best. Been plagued with (I think) inflammation in both elbows and shoulders.
I have had PT and have also been to Illinois Pain Clinic, not much succus.
So I am researching and I am looking at GHRP6 to try to get rid of this crap and get on with my life and lifting.
Could any of you advize me on this, would you be willing to?
If anybody wants more details, just ask and I will reply as best I can.
thanks

i have a fondness for deca at 75-100mg---it works freakin' wonders when my mileage on my bike goes over 400.week (I am 42). watch the use if any gear as androgens tend to adversely impact your sodt tissue and joints

What did they do at the clinic...hormonal panel check????
Very curious you have issues in both elbows and shoulders....
Have you checked your cortisol levels?
Reason Im saying this is that when your hormons are wacked everything hurts, felt the same way when my test level was low...I could barely move without experiencing some type of pain

GHRP-6 why this peptide? What do you think its going to do? How do you think its going to help you?
What research have you done on GHRP-6?
I am not busting on you, just want to know before I tell you what I think...

EddyMerckx, hmmm, your handle remindes of the once most famous King of the Tour...and youre a bike jock too.
I am studying deca and will continue to. And thanks for the warning too.

Varga,
Nope no hormonal panel of any kind.
Nope no cortisol level checks.
Nope no test level check either.
I went in asking for Prolo-therapy and they gave me someting else. I dont remember exactly what it was but was a series of injections in both elbows. Something with cortisone I think. I wasnt impressed cuz it did exactly nothing except use up workers comp money.
After that I went through some ART and that seemed to help for awhile. But the pain-irritation is back now.
However because of your question I will have the hormonal panel done in January. Thanks!
Is cortisol normally checked with that?

Goin on, Thanks for your reply, and thanks for explaining too.
So anyway, I have done some reading on it. I know that typically it gives a substantial increase in appitite, not too thrilled about this part becaue of the additional weight gain. It is legal, I like that! It is not too outragously priced, again good thing. It is injection only I think. I did see one ref to oral consumption but was very breif and I have not been able to substantiate it.
From what I have read it kicks the hypothalmus into secreting more HGH, and thats a good thing espicially for those of us that arent kids anymore. HGH does help with connective tissue repair and I think inflammation. It also helps with body composition. All of this is good for me at my age.
At this point I dont think it needs to be injected directly into the problem area but am not sure, am looking for more material on that part.
Overall because of the HGH increase it does help with with strength also, and thats a good thing for me when and if I decide to use it.
This is what I have found so far, but am continuing to look for more information.
Thanks.

Ok a little more info about me.
I have completely quit doing conventional bench press. Now I use dbls only with a neutral grip @40lbs each side right now. I only go as low as there is no or not much pain in my shoulders. So for the first set that is about 2/3rds of the way down, 2nd and 3rd set all the way down and 4th and 5th set back to about 2/3rds of the way.
I am finding that chins and pull ups very much aggrevate the inflammation and that totally sucks.
I dont do any direct bicep work cuz the chins and pulls took care of that satisfactorily for what I want.
I do deads, modified cuz of the knee issues but am pulling 430 right now. My mod is that I go off of 3" blocks and probably dont dip my hips quite as deep as I would if it didnt hurt my knees.
I do bodyweight squats as in front squat style, dropping down between my legs and back as close to vert as I can keep it. I have tried all the variations of back squats that I can think of, they just dont work for me, again cuz of knees. In the past I have worked up to adding weight in my front squats and will again this time too.
I do bbl bent over row @ 225, and they seem to be fine, but sometimes do get a little elbow irritation. When I do get it, I ice and take 4 Aleve and 2 Aspirin and that seems to pretty much take care of it.
Used to do Gironda dips but out for now-shoulders, used to do conventional dips but out for now -elbows.
I do hang cleans and theyre ok for me.
I do power shrugs @ 300-350 and thats all good.
I also do the Bullet Proof Shoulder Routing from the Diesel Crew site and that works wonders, ver ylight weight and 3 sets of 12-15.
I also do disslocates with a power band and that also seems to help.
Just last week I started doing push ups, feet on floor and hands on a chair and that has made significant difference also, 3 sets of 15 @ body weight.
I have tried R.I.C.E. not too successful. Aleve combined with Aspirin work great but I know that long term thats gonna be bad stuff, so only use it when I have to.
I have also tried to think of ways to work around this, but can only so far with that.
So there you have it, this is where Im at.
Any help any of you guys have would be great and thanks.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday to all of you.
Be Healthy and be STRONG!

Have you looked into CJC-1295 or just plain old IGF-1 LR-3? Those are both good candidates and don't have the issues that GHRP-6 has. But I must say it looks like you are one of the few that actually does research into what you are putting into your body! Nice job!!!
