pain in forearm!

Hi all,

Every so often I'd get pain in one spot my right forearm: along the outside of the bone, slightly closer to my elbow than half way. It used to not be an issue, but as the weight I'm lifting increases, so does the severity/frequency of the pain. It used to happen only on curl-type exercises, but just happened again today while I was flat benching.

It used to feel like I was getting a large burst of blood going through a vessel (no idea if this is actually occuring, but I suspect if it was I'd be in trouble before now). Today it didn't feel like anything, it just hurt.

Anyone have this happen before, or know what the deal is?

i've experienced a similar pain in my left forearm as you described. I have no idea how I did it or really how to fix it. I just kept lifting and applied menthol gel after workouts and before bed. Took me acouple weeks to get over it. There's a difference between being hurt and being injured.
 
That could be it. I deadlifted/shrugged more last Monday than I ever have before, and my grip was sorely tested. The forearm thing didn't hit until a few days later though, so it didn't register.

I have to go to the doc this week anyway, so I'll mention it and see what he says. I'm now actually feeling it whenever I lean on the one arm, so it's worth bringing up.

hmm, whenever i get a sore tendon it only lasts a day or so, and it is constantly sore, and really hurts when i workout with it
