LOL Sorry Bro. I sounded pretty ignorant back there. Well, I guess I was ignorant for presuming the open carry bit. I have a friend who's employed as a PO on the border of Texas/Mexico... he reported that Texas and Arizona are "open carry" States.

But you can get a concealed carry permit for your hand cannon. and many people in Texas do pack.

it is obvious that you love animals and don't want to see one get injured. Unfortuanatly, the Mexicans do not feel the same way. LOL, no problem man, there are plenty of people here who carry concealed weapons but in my experience you'll find the majority of them here carry them in their vehicles for the most part. Some carry them concealed on their person, just most in the vehicle.

I didn't know though that Arizona allowed you to carry a handgun openly, that's interesting.

Arizona is an Open Carry state; so long as it's registered and not concealed, you can drive with a loaded gun on your fron seat if you so wish.

vis-a-vis the dogs: Kill them. These are vicious trained attack dogs and you know damn well that if a small child is exposed, you're gonna have a serious injury or even the death of a child on your concience. I am a dog lover, I have 4. Kill them.

Moral Dillema

These are animals and you are a human so it makes the dillema much easier.

This is clearly a matter of social ethics over personal ethics because of the fact that the dogs are loose in a neighborhood.

The animals have exhibited aggressive behavior that would have been fatal without intervention.

The moral obligation definately falls on the owners to put the dogs down. If the owners don't put the dogs down animal control should... But I know how that program goes.

The easiest way to do it is meatballs marinated in antifreeze and seasoned with rat poison. Make a grocery bag full of them and toss it over the fence.

Note: Make sure there is no receipt in the bag!!! Or dump the bag's contents over the fence and throw the bag away in a discreet place.

No matter what you do your screwed, do it the way that causes the least amount of trouble on your part. Honestly the 'legal' way is going to be the biggest hassle and the least effective. Just take them out and never tip your hand, don't report shit ever, it can just as easily be used against you. I wouldn't shoot because you will draw attention to yourself unless you had no other choice. BTW: You use AS and hit a dog with a 40lb bar and didn't kill it? AS usage + adreniline I would homered that dogs head like Barry Bonds in a T-ball game.

I say this as a Pit Bull owner for the better part of 13 years--kill the owners!

Pit Bulls have received their reputation not because of a genetic flaw that alters their brain chemistry, makes them inherently more agressive, or in any way vicious. It is the dog owners, not the dogs, who are bad.

Dogs, like people, can have physical conditions that alter their patterns of behavior (sometimes for the worse), but more often than not, it is a byproduct of poor training/ownership. Much in the way parents are held responsible for the actions of their children, so too are dog owners responsible for their animals.

Involve the police, not just animal control. Direct them to the home of the owners...accompany them if need be. If they have a car illegally parked in their yard, call the police. If you witness them jay-walking, call teh police. If they are playing their stereo too loud...call the police. A bad dog owner needs to be punished, if not for having abused their dogs (which these dog owners clearly have) but for anything else you can bring them down for. Remember, Al Capone went down for tax evasion.

Just as you would not feel good about sitting idly by ignoring clear evidence of child abuse, so too should you not ignore this abuse.
