Hello guys ,
I have a bone fracture on the right humerus, with an operation done and a plate inside, but it has been more than 5 months and the bone hasnt fully recovered yet.I am really desperate, because the healing process is going really slow and i cant go to the gym.
Today i stumbled upon Ostarine and read that at doses of 12.5 e/d it helps bone fractures heal faster. Since the doctors in my country havent heard of it there is no chance that i will get appropriate advice , that's why i turn to you.
I would be really thankful for any advice concerning whether Ostarine will help in my case. Thank you.
If you are having trouble with a humeral fracture healing, I'm assuming it was in the proximal humerus since the distal usually heal.
1) Do you have any metabolic disorders such as diabetes?
2) Do you use nicotine in ANY form (including patches). Nicotine makes it very difficult for bones to heal.
3) Have you looked into a bone growth stimulator? Sometimes that's what it takes to make a proximal humerus heal.
The problem with a prox humerus is that the ball portion of your humerus is just a big ball of mush. It's hard to get plates and screws to hold there. The shaft of the bone will take screws just great.
If you've got a radiological image, post it up. But I'm guessing the problem is right near the fracture shown below:
