Opinions of HST

I was hoping to get some opinions of HST (hypertrophy specific training)

I am currently dealing with some long term elbow pain and about to start a cycle. I am looking to put on muscle and get a solid base for summer, where I will be doing alot more sport specific training and need to start it strong and injury free.
 
HST has some good theories, I'd give it a try. You start with 15 reps on your workouts so you ease your joints in and get them ready, maybe the light work high reps will help with your elbow.
