One of the best back shots I've taken

Ok, I'm starting to get my posing down and I figured the best way to gauge my progress would be to take pictures of myself and compare them to the correct pose. This is the best back shot yet, but I forgot to flex my left bicep, but that's ok, cuz I'll remember for the show :D

Solid rear delts...Are you planning on covering the tatoo with make-up. It difficult to see the separation on your left arm. But you can see the great tri separation on the other arm.

Fuck, I never thought about that. Maybe the protan will cover it up a bit, but I'm not sure what I can do with using make up or something because once I start applying oil and other shit, any make up will come right off. Guess I'll have to deal with it.

I know what you mean :D My shoulders, especially my front delts, are very large. Just the other day I was doing 225 on barbell military press. I knew that I had to make the rest of my back and arms bigger in order to look proportional during the back double bicep shot. It seems that my hard work with my arms and lower back have paid off because everything seems to be in harmony with this pic.

19 DAYS?!?! Holy shit! I cant believe the show is just over 2 weeks away. Damn, time has been flying by lately because my days go by like a blur. I haven't gone out in months because all I do is prepare for this show. If I'm not maing food, I'm eating. If I'm not training, I'm posing, and if I'm not awake, then I'm probably not thinking about food, which is the only thing I can think about 24/7, hehehe, it's funny. My cousin will be delivering some very fancy cheesecakes to my house from the CheeseCake Factory a few days before the show. Just a little treat for myself after all this is over.

Thanks for the enouragement guys, but I dont think I'll win it all, and in fact thinking like that is not cool because this is my first show and I dont want to be let down if I dont win. I'm mainly doing this for fun. There's always some freak that nobody has ever heard of that drops by and wins it all; happens everytime at amateur shows.

Yeah, and that's with no dead lifts!! I plan to start doing dead lifts again once the show is over. The last time I did dead lifts was over 4 years ago, and I never used a belt, which is the reason I got a hernia from doing them, but this time around I will do them correctly, and hopefully put on some extra mass and thickness.

I cant believe you did that without deads. I've been really pushing those, I'm up to 525 for sets of 5 now, but am starting to worry that I've got a hernia.
 
Great Symmetry and thickness. Just remember to squeeze your glutes and flex your hams when you get onstage and hit you back shots. Alot of firsttime competitors forget this when they hit the stage.

Your physique looks excellent bro. You are hitting the pose very well also. I would have your girlfriend or training partner shave the space between your middle traps before you put your artificila tan on. It will look fucking wierd if you don't. Other than that, good shit bro. :D

Yeah, I know, all that hair will be removed. :D The only reason I am letting it grow is because it will be easier to Nair come show time.

it might irritate your skin, and cause discoloring......

I have never used Nair but Epelstop did that to me....just a thought:)

I'm doing the Lone Star Classic in a little less then two weeks....that's the one that flexed1 was going to be in. lol....he was supposed to be my competition.

Saf I jsut started the diet that you poseted on your old site with all your pictures on it...I was wondering if there is anything else you do to help your diet along I am looking to cut some bf% i am on fina, winny, and aratest right now and your diet and just ordered some yohimburn....I look solid just want a better stomach..what type of workout do you do soits and abs...Is there anything you snack on when you are hungry but its late you said on your post anything in the fridge.....Just let me knwo thanks man you look feunominal..Gcis40

I just started seeing a competition dietician last week in order to make sure that I have the correct guidance for the last weeks before the show. Keep in mind that this is my competition diet, so I'm assuming if you would like to use this for getting lean and losing fat, it would be appropriate. The diet that was posted at that old site was, I believe, my bulking diet.

For the most part, my competiotn diet was on target except for the following which my dietician recommended to change:

1) No more Isopure, switch to Lean Body. The reason for this is because Isopure is 100% Whey and goes right through you. Lean Body, on the other hand, is a complex, consisting of a protein blend. Lean Body tastes better than Isopure, much better, although it does have 12g/carbs per packet, which is not such a big deal; Isopure has zero carbs.

2) Take 100mg ALA per meal. This doesn't need explaining.

I dont perform any isolated movements for lower back, such as good mornings or hyperextensions. For back I do bent-over barbell rows, bent-over dumbell rows, corner rows, and lat pull downs. That's it. But the reason my lower back is so developed is because it gets very sore and hurts like a mutha fucka when I do any type of bent-over movement. My erectors swell up and get very tight after a back workout, even after squats. It's actually the weakest part of my back, in terms of strength. Go figure...
