On the fence about running gear......

So I am hoping for some sound advice here. I recently went to the Dr. because I have been on this new anti depres for couple of months now and I feel good on it. However, and there is always a however when it comes to meds, my sex drive is non-existent. I just got blood work done and my
Total T = 471 in range from 262-1593 and Free T = 1.19 in range from .95 - 4.30 that being said my doc prescribed me a topical test, I believe Androgel.

I am hesitant on taking this. My free T is on the low range and I think this is the reason for my low libido. What can I do to get my Free T up preferably naturally? I've taken Unleashed a while back and don't remember it doing much. Any other suggestions?

I have friends telling me to run low dosage of injectable Test. I am confused on what to do....

Listen to your Doc,Run the Androgel it will make a world of difference,since the release is slow and gradual there's no hi and low spikes on blood levels.

Are you thinking of running injectable test for the sole purpose of libido issues?

Ok thanks. Couple of questions:

Will the Androgel shut my natural Test production down?

Also I like my hair very much, will I have to worry about hairloss with Androgel?

Also should I have an anti e on hand? I have topical formestane (E-Form)..

I'm not a big fan of androgel, I prefer proper TRT with testosterone injections. Ask your doc about this.

a doctor perscribed dose of testosterone is nothing like a cycle.I don't even consider it doing steroids.

if your on androgel your on it for life. its not like your condition is going to improve. more likely it will decline with age. so in that aspect, shutdown isn't really an issue, unless your thinking from a fertility aspect.

a small dose of test should have no effect on your hair.

I don't think an anti e is nessacary.

That's what I was thinking, the gel is only 1% at 5grams per 4pumps equates to only 35mgs absorbed per week. So I can't imagine hairloss will be much of an issue or increase of estro. I will keep some fin and anti e on hand just in case. Also maybe throw some HCG in after 3 - 4 weeks.

Thats not enough for a bird,My Doc gave my brother a script for 10mgs per day.


I however agree with Eclen ,nothing beats real injectable test.

I think alot of your libido is in the head where most people look at the numbers and forget the mind is a powerful pharmacy itself.
A gel isn't gonna do much harm due to the low dosages and delivery but it could be more than enough to aid your concern.
I think everyone on this board on or off has had a libido issue or concern at one point of another so you're not alone.
I hope this helps and everything works out the way you want it.
When all else fails, stop watching porn and start performing it.
That way your expectation of a real women isn't killed when in the sack hahaha.

If you take the androgel, your natural T will continue to decrease, in which case you'll be too suppressed to recover within a few months. Your doctor is an idiot. Either try and raise your T naturally or go on real HRT.
