You can never tell, but use common sense. Don't buy from anyone who sells narcotics or controlled substances. It's no more risky than buying from a site recommeneded by a stranger on a message board.

Hmm. Seems a little unrealistic. It's like saying everyone should do business as usual when there is a giant elephant running around the room trampling on people.

Who's getting trampled? If you're selling you got a problem. If not, there's nothing you can do but lay low. If you lost money, chalk it up as a cheap lesson. This is what happens when people go into black market businesses. Uncle Sam doesn't like anyone making money without paying taxes. What do they expect?

Maybe some good will come out of all this. For one thing, everyone will be more careful with whom they do business. How many times have you seen guys coming on asking about a new lab that just popped up? Why the fuck would you deal with a lab that has no rep at all? To save twenty bucks?!?! Who are the people making this stuff and under what conditions? It's nuts.

I don't trust UG labs, never did, never will.

Now pay attention, this is important.

Over the years there have been a lot of guys who've received notices for seized overseas shippments. NOTICES. That's it. It isn't worth the cost of the gasoline to go to your house and bust you for 100 bucks worth of personal gear. They want the BIG BOYS and they ain't going to Thailand to find them when they've got guys brewing up millions of dollars of the shit in their basements.

After all the gurus and pendants and pundents and self appointed experts swore that domestic was the way to go, the feds rammed it up their asses. The question shouldn't be "HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN!?" I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. It was long overdue. And it happens when people get greedy and sloppy.

Of course I know in a month everyone gets lax and some will go right back to doing the same dumb shit. But if you get ripped off, or sick, or busted, don't say you weren't warned.

If I was any more "chilled" I'd be frozen. I agree about commen sense, being careful and cautious, and not over reacting through being "paranoid and scared". But then again yesterday we had the 'round up the newbs and isolate them from the vets and people you don't know' because this will make everyone more safe.. This does not include all the vets or members, but it seems to me that most of the panic and overreacting came from many of the vets, people in the know, and those who typically seem to have a handle on things around here. Then there were the 'sort of newbs' that 'had a jump on bandwagon mentality' that all of a sudden they connected to the vets and long term members. I saw more 'brown nosing', apple poilshing' butt kissing' and people acting like they were all in deep shit and needed comfort. It was pretty obvious to see just how out of control things got from these 'non-newbs vets', and then they start spouting rules off that they have been breaking, and all of a sudden 'fngs' or "newbs" are over scrutinized, and treated like second class members. The funny thing is, they (vets) were all new here once as well, and I've been married for nearly as long or longer than they've been alive.. lol

For the short two months I've been here, I've seen just as many vets breaking the rules and creating 'said risk' as any newb. Not just 'source' rules either.

Like I said yesterday, great team work. One sided condescending abiguity. Pretty much goes agianst the whole premise of what a forum board is for.

For the record, it was not any of the mods, admins, or the older vets, just some of the young bucks with a few padded posts to their credit.

i agree 100%. why gripe about it, it IS ILLEGAL and the feds are just doing what they are paid to do. agree with it or not, its the way it is.

Pat Benitar, eh? Here's a bit of trivia for you.

About 25 years ago I was in a band that Pat Benitar auditioned for. I thought she was great and cute as hell. The bandleader didn't like her. Said her voice was "too thin." A year later she's the hottest thing in show business.

Not sure what ever happened to that bandleader. Last I heard he was working at Burger King.
