Okay, It's Time For Everyone To CHILL THE FUCK OUT!

Nelson Montana said:
Stick around, be real, and you'll get to know a lot of good bros. Yeah, they can be gruff at times but if you talk straight and contribute they'll welcome you in. Best info on the net.

I hope you enjoyed your cookie(s) last night. I didn't get as much sleep as I wanted and actually watched a movie called Mr. Brooks with Kevin Costner. I won't give away the ending, but like Mr. Brooks changed his mind, I am now changing mine.

I appreciate your thoughts, advice, and of course many others on the board as well, but just like it got under your skin last night, it's under mine today. I have been real, I have been talking straight, can deal with the title "newb" from the boards overall standpoint, and can even hold my own against the "gruff" that comes from certain subjects and debates if you will.

However, I cannot tolerate the ambiguity, hypocrisy, the miny clicks or groupie homies clinging like gang members to a pseudo leader(s). The mystery talk and acronyms best used in pms and not confusing everone like some gang bs talk. The "I'm your friend one day, and your condescending rule making boss the next. Most recently as mentioned the flood of people from boards closed that you were not even aware of, and then how the "New Rules" by a 'non mod' of "300 post min and 1 year join date" and also "I don't care what board you're from and who the hell you know" were my responses when I asked about clarification of "newb" status or the requirements for as you say "being welcomed in".

Interesting as I look at certain new threads of former members, members that have multiple user names, and also those who clearly have not met the "changed rules" of "300 posts and 1 year min join date", are not only treated like royalty, but awarded higher memberships, and status in the forum like the 'alpha wolf' who has come home from a long hunting trip.. wtf?

It's bullshit in it's truest sense. It's favoritism, who you know and blow, and you've even been challenged by some of this same shit..
Check out this scenario. 'newcomer that's actually and old member that hasn't been here for a while, comes back from some other board, seems to be a newb based on posts and join date, talks smack about Nelson, and asks who the hell you are, and he's knowledgeable about this board??? But wait, he knows somebody of influnence here, so he's ok' wtf is that? Nonsense and bs. There's more like that, but you get the point.

Basically I have gained a lot of knowledge here, have you're great book, waiting on OMEGAs book, know your websites for some supplements I'll be trying in the future and I'm going back to a real life now. I just needed some motivation and a change, but I don't need this immature drama. That shit was left back in juinior high school 30 plus years ago. Many of these people/members 'need' each other, and that's quite apparent. This is no reflection on any mods, admin, chairman, nor any of the more mature vets and newbs that have been cool and not acting like childish clingy hoodlums..

Thanks to those who have answered my questions, given advice, and made yourselves available. I have learned enough to almost be dangerous, but the sense to know when to not be.

Good luck guys.

I hear you Mark and agree for the most part. Boards in general tend to be cliquish which is why I avoided them for years. Does a newcomer sometimes get a raw deal? Absolutely. Can someone be a new poster and not be a noob? Without a doubt. But in light of everything that's gone down things have to swing a little toward the other side of the spectrum. People were coming on to the board and with virtually no contribution, asking for sources and people were giving them out. That's not cool. On both ends.

As for the acronyms, that's because the site decided to write out the chemical names of all the compounds as a way of bringing clarity to newcomers but it's become an irritant, so the members have found a way of working around it. Does it seem a little "inside"? Sure, but you'll catch on.

I think the best thing is not to take any of it too seriously. It's the internet and there will always be a variety of opinions and there will always be an occasional idiot. But compared to other boards this one is far more open, fair minded and knowledgable. It's much better than it was and it's much more active than most any other board and that's what makes it fun. Hope you stick around.

Real quick, since things have turned into a major monkey fuck around here.

#1: Look around bros. There are dozens of people who have joined the site in the last 2 weeks asking all sorts of "personal" questions. Don't be a dumb dipshit. No more talk about labs! To ANYONE.

#2: Learn your lesson. UG labs are risky in so many ways I don't even want to get into it here. (And if you don't know what I mean, I'm not going to explain it to you).

#3: Quit griping about THE MAN! It is what it is and nobody needs another soap box sermon about how fucked up it is. We get it. It sucks.

#4: There are plenty of life extension sites where you can get 90% on the anciliaries that people buy from labs. (G.H.., clomid, adexx, HC G, thyroids, etc, etc). For a few extra bucks you can get name brand legit pharma grade. And don't ask me for a link. Do a damn search.

#5; If you can't afford to pay, don't play. I see so many guys who use bathtub crap and vet shit because "it's cheaper." Well, that's why you'll get what's coming to you if the shit goes south. This is serious shit and we don;t have a spokesman in the media talking on our behalf. It's up to YOU to conduct yourself in a responsible manner. There are so many advantages bodybuilders today with stae of the art supplements, you can make great gains. Then, save up for that once or twice a year cycle with some clean legit gear.

And finally, stop panicing! Unless you're selling, you're not a target --UNLESS, you just hand over some info that makes you or a fellow member an easy mark. Don't do it. Be cool. It's going to be alright.

Now, let's get back to talking about growing muscle.

Peace.

I agree with everything you say , EXCEPT the discussing about the legal question of should or shouldn't AAS be legal i.e "griping abut it".

It's through social interaction on boards like EF and others and through grass roots efforts that "maybe" we can get some of the laws reversed.

I don't agree the mindset that "it is what it is". We can effect changes if we are vocal enough and EF is a good place to group together to effect such changes. We should never be satisfied with the status quo!

Good shit Nelson. Thats why I havent been on the boards in a while. Things are the way they are for now. Be patient and soon things will die down and be back to normal y'all. :)

I must disagree. There is no way anything anybody says on here will make a difference except maybe make things worse. There are simply too many people who are abusing the drugs and they each have an equal opinion.

Most of the "gripes" are of the "Fuck them! " variety. What good does that do? The only way slight changes can be made is if someone articulate becomes a spokesman with a lot of airplay AND it's finacially rewarding to do so. THEN, slowly, some headway may be made. Then again, Bryant Gumbal did a fantastic piece of steroids and nobody gave a fuck. That's because steroids have a limited appeal and as mentioned in another post, the feds need an easy target and they got what they wanted.

Of course if Swartzenegger became President...

But one thing I agree with -- educating people is the first step.

This drugwar is gonna continue to reward, and punish for some time to come i'm afraid.

We will have to agree to disagree. Plus I didn't say anything about the "fuck em" mentality.

It's been proven many tiems that change can be made and the Internet has been proven to be a powerful tool in effecting a change.
