Any action that you undertake bears your responsibility. Driving that car is your responsibility as is the maintenance of it, so you would be responsible for the financial repercussions of the accidental death. Any action also bears risk, and you have to weigh risk vs reward and side with whichever side suits you best.

I want a piece of ass, so I guess I will forgo the contraceptive? That argument has a logical fallacy because the risk of permanent detrimental outcomes outweighs the single night of reward. This argument also bears fruit with the STD's. The main moral breakdown in America today is the lack of personal responsibility. This has nothing to do with religion or a god.

THis post makes me horny.

Why?? Whats the difference between one abortion and fifty abortions by a woman?? Just curious as to the mindset of someone prochoice on the issue, not going to bash or say that you are wrong, just curious
IMO, people make mistakes. Doing that once & getting an abortion, to me, is not reprehensible. To do it many times shows a reckless disregard for your own safety & well being & possibly the health/safety of any future children you may have.
I don't believe a person becomes a person at the point of conception. My knowledge of the steps between conception & full developement is a little sketchy, but I'm thinkin it's not until gender is determined & brain is well formed, that a phoetus becomes a person.

I was merely setting up the next logical question, if its wrong for a woman to have 5 abortions, then how is it not even worse to be a female abortion doctor, carrying out 50. Or 5000??
One, I phrase the discussion towards a female where everyone can get down on her and call her and irresponsible her. Next, I say what about a medical professional killing thousands more babies to pay her mortgage and buy her mercedes??

The problem I see it is that pro-choice argumenters really can never have a debate on this, even if I considered myself one. That the argument cant 'really' move beyond certain points that are accepted as invalid. Meaning, logically, the position is flawed

I agree. If I am pro-choice, then I must accept that some women will use this as a method of birth control. I have no problem with that.

Thats the point isnt it?? Some women cant tolerate the pill, dont have sex often enough or simply are averse to hormonal manipulation of their bodies.

The fact that so often they get pregnant just go in like they are having a back massage and get it removed in a simple procedure is just another means of birthcontrol

The problem is drawing out hippocracies of pro-choice folks who buy the hype failing to think through the positions. Abortion is not wrong always, it happens most often naturally. Its the motives that we impugn. And here we see the prochoicers impugning and attributing motives. Some would say, that they are prochoice, to spite antiabortionists who oppose murdering fetuses lol

I didnt read but the first post and Id have a problem w/ it too...
Im pro choice too and would have the same problem...

My ex has a friend who seemed to use abortion as a bc method... I thought she just had 2-3 but now shes pregnant and keeping it.. I found out that its the 8th pregnancy w/ 7 prior abortions and she started to feel guilty and is now keeping it.

Im pro choice, but I think that if it were mine it would be a REALLY tough choice.. If I knew I got a chick pregnant It wouldnt sit right w/ an abortion.

I just hope that there are no little biteme's out there running around that I don't know about. That would kill me.

I have no problems with the abortion Dr.s. They are doing the will of their patients & I don't believe they are violating the Hippocratic oath.
What is the legal time frame for abortion? 8 wks? 10? 12?

Agreed. It's like freedom of speech. I believe in free speech even though there are people who say mean and nasty things that make me re-think my position.
