This shit pissed me off at work the other night. Our Er as every ER this time of year is busier than usual d/t flu sniffles and cold type symptoms. I was in triage and had 20 papers in my hand still to triage and a line of 15 more signing in.

This mexican couple comes in to be triaged. They speak little to no english. This is fine. I hate using the translator phone but if the pt is sick then I have no probs pulling it out. So I ask her what is gong on:

Stupid Bitch: " My husband thinks I have been with another man. I want a test to prove I am not cheating on him"

Super ER nurse: There are no tests that we can do to prove you were or were not cheating. Do you still wanna be seen by a M?"

SB: Yes, I want to show him with a test that I am not cheating.

Me: ma'am there is no such test to show this. I can still check you in but there is not a test to show this at all. It will be atleast an 8 hour wait and the MD is going to tell you the exact same thing. I am just tryng to save you from wasting 8 hours of your day and your 3 kids day.

Dumb ass Bitch and stupid ass husband: I want to be tested.

Me: We are not guna sign you in. yall ned to see a family counselor to work this problem. This is not an EMERGENCY room situation.

I actualey felt dumber after having this conversation.

I live in the Barrio in LA. My monthly rent is cheap. I'm not paying $2200/month just so i can live with middle class white people. Pedro and Guadalupe really never bother me. Most of the people in my hood are actually really nice.

Amnesty won't make any difference to me. It may if you have kids and have to live in a rich house just so you can send your kids to an English school.

I hate it tho when illegals come here and commit crimes (which comes along with lower income demographics). The immigrants that built this country, didn't come to steal horses and deal drugs.
