Newbie Advice

Hi!

I am looking for advice on my first cycle. I am a 35 year old male, 5' 9" tall and weight around 155-160. I lifted briefly at 23, but it was just with a 110 lb set of free weights and a bench. I got frustrated after 2 months and literally no visible results. I'm looking to hit 170-185lbs and bulk up somewhat. I'm not looking to be Mr. Olympia or anything, but I would like to look as good as I can. I'd settle for looking like the solo-flex dude. My BMI is 24.

A friend of mine suggested Anadrol, but I'm leery of it after reading about it. I'm thinking of injectibles but I'm not sure which are best and what I need to buy with them to avoid making mistakes. I have decided to do this, but I want to do it right.

Thanks

good first cycle:

12 weeker...

500mg sustanon a week
20mg dbols (first 4 weeks, and last 4 weeks)

"I'd settle for looking like the solo-flex dude." - Years of training and flawless diet along with great genetics will get you looking like him, not steroids.

Do alot of research, Anadrol is very bad advice.

You should easily be able to hit 170-185 with out using gear.

Before you even think about doing gear you should make sure your work out and diet is correct. Gear will not just give you body you want you will have to work just as hard if not harder.

Once you have learned how to lift and eat right IF you have not reached your goals (and I still think they are VERY reachable naturally) then start researching gear.

"You should easily be able to hit 170-185 with out using gear."

Thanks for the advice, but I beg to differ. As I said, I have been thin all my life. Its very very hard for me to put on weight, even with no excercise and eating like a horse. "Gear" as you put it is all the hope I have left. You guys that can eat right and work out pretty hard and get results have no idea what its like to have a metabolism from hell or bad genetics. I just want to look and feel as good as I can with the least amount of risk.

There are millions of super-thin people who change their physiques every day through hard work and dedication. Gear is used to break genetic barries and limitation, not for an easy bulk.

Then dont use gear.

You didn't say you have been lifting all your life. Rather, you said, "I lifted briefly at 23, but it was just with a 110 lb set of free weights and a bench." How much are you eating and WHAT are you eating? These play into whether or not you gain natually or even on gear. At least make sure you have all that undestood before you try a cycle.

Hey Ohashi, tell that to Lou Ferrigno. You don'r get results like he got in a month without gear. Period. Some people just need a boost to get started, I think. I'm going to stop arguing and just study. If I wanted to be preached to, I'd go to church.

Seeya!

Are you competeing professionally? No. So don't compare yourself to Lou. Stop looking for an easy way, and try working hard.

I am one of those people. I literaly have to eat all day to put on size. I have to eat 4-5k calories a day when not on cycle.

You said you tried working out for 2 monthes 12 years ago and gave up.
What are you going to when your Test doesn't kick in for 4-5 weeks?
