need to buy a new computer, drop some knowledge on me

whats some of the better computers out there that i can buy for a price range of $800. will be using it for pretty much standard shit, online classes, viewing porn, burning cd's & dvd's, etc. was thinking dell or hp pavillion. anyway, i think the only must is a flat screen monitor along with it. what do ya'll think?

check out techbargains.com, they sometimes have cupons for dells and hp's. flat screen monitors are going to probably knock the price over 800. your best bet is to try and get the computer seperate from the monitor. maybe look for a refurbished monitor that's pretty big in size, you'll save money by doing that.
