Need some honest advice please.

Hello all. As most can see, this is my first time posting, but I have been lurking and learning for a while now. I'd like some straight-up advice, and will consider long and hard all that I am given.

First my stats: I am 6' 7" tall, and 315lbs. I would estimate in the 18% area for body fat. I carry most of my weight in my mid-section as well. I am a former Division 1 college football player who never used gear, so I know the gym regimen well. Problem is, I want to get back into it hardcore, and want a solid jump start. Would like to drop 40-50 lbs, and lean up my existing muscle.

I am 100% looking to start on Clenbuterol (which I am getting from either the forum sponsor listed later in my post, of from an equine veterinarian), but would like some suggestions for other supplements (Only things I can buy easily, and preferably not injectable at this point). If I gain some mass, that's fine, but not looking to bulk anymore that I have to. Remember, I want to drop the weight, and lean up. I will also be under monthly care of a physician while using the Clen.

I'd also like to know if forum sponsors here are trusted? (Orbit, Rxhealthdrugs, etc).

So, I am now open to any suggestions, and thank everyone for their opinions. If for some reason you don't wish to post here, you can PM me as well. Thank you all for your help and suggestions. They are greatly appreciated.

MOD's: If I've posted in the wrong area, my apologies. Please feel free to move the post if needed.

Hey man, good to have you on the boards. I applaud you wanting to destroy the gym again. Takes some balls to go back into warrior mode when you aren't playing sports anymore. IF I could lend you some advice about dropping weight and your situation. When starting in the high teens of body fat percentage with just simple diet calibration and a few fasted cardio sessions a week you can knock down four or five percent without blinking an eye. The clen I think doesn't need to be used. Does it work? NO doubt, but the sides that you get plus mixed with you trying to get back into a rhythm just might screw the whole rhythm up entirely. If it was something you were looking at for purely energy enhancement I'd rock something much safer and side free. Forged burner and the Need2Slin combo is still my all time favorite. It's amazing for energy mood enhancement and recomping. That plus some good solid diet practices and you and you could be down to the low teens in a month or two which is a damn big change.

Welcome to the site bro.

orbit and rxhealthdrugs are good people.
I personally dont like clen coz it gives me brutal headaches and nausea.
Like rick said...forged burner and need2slin would be ideal for your goals. forged burner+adderllin stacked together will really kick some ass.

Have you checked out needtobuildmuscle.com ? they staock these supps and there is a 25% discount on at the moment.

Good luck.

Jester....Welcome to the Hall of Bodybuilding Justice! LOL...Just my play on words to lavish my appreciation of this site. You are among friends and fellow warriors of many different stripes.

First off, yes you can trust the sponsors here. I spent a tremendous amount of time reading and re-reading before taking the plunge on a variety of advice here and making any recommended purchases. Probably well over a year. And there are many here, like Rick, who are very serious athletes whose perspectives and experiences are invaluable. But without question at the top of my list is Needtogetaas! He is something special. His knowledge and study of the applied science of bodybuilding, physiology and modern day athletic/nutritional chemistry is astounding! At least to me. There are several places here and at his site mentioned above where you can read him extensively on a wide variety of subjects. And that would be my first and foremost recommendation to you.

As we all know (or should) knowledge is power. And few places exist today where there is more misinformation than in this realm. Everyday it seems there is some new rainforest discovery with the magic pill or powder to allow the average goofball to eat whatever, whenever, not exercise and still look like the statue of David. And 99% of us knows it's a lie. (My favortie sham is still the electrode-tape it too your midsection-let the machine work your abs-get a sixpack rouse. I know somebody somewhere is still laughing his arse off over the money he made off that.) Good success in life is about attitude and effort. Period, end of story.

Now, that is not to say that there aren't a) basic principles that apply to all of us and b)modern advances in science that can and do provide advantages for us to maximize our gym time and more importantly the results. But just as there are basics for us all our bodies are as individual as our fingerprints. In other words your body's reactions aren't going to be the same as mine or anyone else's regardless of whether we are talking training, nutrition or supplementation. Bearing that in mind the best approach is again your own knowledge married to your own personal experience within the framework of basic principles.

I was a little concerned to hear you going the route of Clen to start off with. Although I have never used it myself I was tempted to a couple years ago but honestly got scared off after doing some internet research. I will leave to others more knowledgable but as best as I could understand, using Clen is fairly hardcore. Especially when considering its pharma origins and what it was originally prescribed to do. I will side with Rick and strongly encourage you start with cleaning your daily nutrition, adding basic supplementation such as vitamins, protein intake, cardio, rest and recovery, etc. Basically bodybuilding 101. Also, you didn't mention your age?! Possibly a factor as it can and will impact your natural test output and metabolism.

Sorry for the short novel but as you can tell I am very passionate about this subject. I hate to see people taken advantage of when they have a genuine desire to improve themselves. I know I wasted alot of time and money over the last 20 years on expensive supps which did little or nothing and tasted bad enough to make a billy goat puke! This is truly a site where a man can go to get great advice and encouragement and some solid science!

With the help and guidance of Needto and others, I have benefited greatly. I am 43 and am stronger now than at any point in my life. That includes football, wrestling and my stint in the Corps! Within the last 18 months or so I raised my bench press considerably. From 225lbs for 18 reps to 26 reps and last summer at the peak of my training I pressed 365lbs for a solid set of 8. Trying that wouldn't even have crossed my mind 2/3 years ago. And I WILL peak out this summer by hoisting 8 plates in the air! I know there's plenty of guys out there stronger but it ain't a long list. Especially for my age. And I'm pretty proud of my accomplishments given that I only lift about 3.5 hours a week. I don't do any 'hardcore' supps and I lose about 3 months of focused training every year because I coach football. My point is if I can do it based upon what I'm working with, so can you. And again, you're in a great place! All the best brother!

Right on and good advice

You may use RADAR25 in the code box before checking out to get 25% off of your entire order

Ya, I'm sure you'll like either forged or adderllin to stack with it. Just becareful if you take either of those the same day as the clen.. and shit can hit you like a motherfucker. I try not to take my aderllin with my clen, but sometimes the clen makes me so friggen tired that I feel like I have to.

I would perfer he use just forged burner and aderllin,i'm not so hot seeing newbies resort to clenbuterol,it does have sides, stresses the heart & nervous system that alone is enough to say no thanks right there!

Thanks for the info guys. Sorry that I forgot to mention my age, I'm 38. I will look into the suggested supplements more this evening. As for the Clen, like I said I would be under a physicians care and monitoring. No way I am going to risk my life just getting back into the scene. Any other advice is greatly appreciated, and I thank everyone for the warm welcome.

I agree with you, but throw needtoslin in there. Honestly with me, nothing works better.

I'd like to thank everyone for the great advice. The forged Burner/Need2Slin combination has won me over, and I will be placing my order shortly. The discount is nice, but the blood insulin analysis was the kicker for me! Now what I'd like to know, is the best way to use this stack. (Both pre-workout, 2x daily, etc.) I usually have a light, protein rich breakfast around 11am (I work late nights). Gym workout will be 2 hrs daily beginning at Noon, and running until 2pm Monday-Friday with weekends off. 1hr cardio, and 1 hr lifting, concentrating on 1 area daily. Post workout meal will be 60-40 protein to carb ratio, as that will technically be my dinner, and I am trying to stay low carb for a while, as I don want to unnecessarily bulk-up. Evening at work will consist of protein shake (54g of protein 6g sugar), and 2 nutrition bars (19g) protein each.

I'm also a camel, and drink 2+ gallons of water daily (I do not drink soda, sugary drinks, etc. Strictly water and fresh brewed iced tea). Anyone have anything to offer on my plan? I'm open to all suggestions, but please remember that my meal after workout is my main meal of the day. Thank you again for all the great info! Everyone here has been truly helpful thus far, and I look forward to getting started again.

I should also ask, anything post-cycle I should use or worry about with this combination? It looks like I can use and come off safely, but anyone that has used this have recommendations?

Not to sure on the burners. Needtos site will tell you, or someone here.
But the needtoslin. just take one 30 minutes before your big meals 3 times a day.
So technically breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try to take your protein shakes after the 30 minutes too, because the needtoslin will send the nutrients to your muscles really fast. This shit is the real deal. I lost 20 lbs of fat from it and gained about 10 lbs of muscle in about 6 weeks. (which is the amount needtoslin should last you)

Hope everything goes well!

Bottom line -- more exercise, less food.

A combo of Forged burner preworkout and and ZIP www.proteinfactory.com post workout will help. Clen is noting to fool around with, plus, it has a rebound effect. You need to makes adjustments in lifestyle, not get a quick , temporary fix. And at your size, it's going to take a hefty dosage and that's a strain to the heart. I can;t believe a doctor will go along with this.

The inital dose of Clenbuterol was going to be 10mcg. After 1 weeks use and self observation, I would have undergone a stress test and blood work. 2nd week would have gone to 20mcg, and would have had the same work-up done. 3rd week would have progressed to 30mcg, same work-up. 4th week, 40mcg and same work-up. My doctor is one of the top cardiac specialists/surgeons in my state, and treats many bodybuilders who are concerned about effects that gear has on their heart. That's why everything was being done slowly and gradually with proper monitoring. Honestly he doesn't recommend it it to anyone, however he knows that people are going to do it anyway, and at least he can help them do it safely without taking their lives.

As I'm just getting back into it, I have decided against the Clenbuterol route, and am instead of opting for the Forged Burner/Need2Slin combo that has been recommended by so many. My order has been placed, and I'm hoping that everything about Needto and their shipping is the cat's ass like people have been saying. Honestly after browsing many supplement websites, their prices/shipping CAN NOT BE BEAT! The 25% discount made their prices UNTOUCHABLE!

I will post to let everyone know how it's working, how I feel on it, and how my progress is going. I can't say enough about how invaluable this site is for both the beginner, as well as the advanced!
