Need some advice on a good supplement I can take before the gym

Need some advice on a good supplement that I can take on my way to the gym. I would like to take something because I go to the gym usually around 6 o'clock in the morning, so I want my energy levels to be strong. What are some supplements that have worked for you?

What is your goal at the moment bro? Are you currently following any sort of meal plan?


Proper nutrition and hydration are going to be the biggest drivers of performance and pump quality in the gym. Supplements won't have as much of a meaningful impact without these foundations.

A good combination of lower and higher GI carb sources before and around training + hydration + plenty of sodium.


Rice and honey, or rice and banana are a couple of tasty combinations. Make sure you get at LEAST 1L of water in before training, and a generous amount of sodium.


Intra workout you might like any fast acting carb power.

Dextrose
Maltodextrin
Cyclic dextrin

Are some examples.


Three must haves for supplements:

Caffeinated or non-stim pre workout (I like zombie labs)
Hydration stack plus aminos (I like Altered Nutrition)
Creatine

^ these plus the nutrition will cover almost all of your bases

Others, depending on your goal:

Glycerol
Carnitine (low oral bioavailability)
Glutamine.

You also have a whole WORLD of pre workouts when you look at injectables and oral AAS as well.
