Need help

MICAH.N.SILV

I am a mother of three and had all three children by c section. I am 120 lbs at 5'1 so not that interested in losing a lot of weight. The problem that I am trying to solve is that through the surgeries where they cut me open I have little to no muscle tone and I need help figuring out ways to tone up this area mainly below the navel area that is loose skin and the muscles have no tone whatsoever. I can barely do 5 leg lifts. Any help would be much appreciated on techniques, exercise suggestions as well as a proper diet.

Thanks

Micah,

It may seem frustrating right now, but you will be surprised as you will get your muscle tone & strength in your lower abs back. Keep working on doing your leg lifts - you can train abs anywhere from every day to everyother day - it wont hurt you. Each week try to at least increase your reps by one. You should also be increasing your sets try to do 3 sets of 5 leg lifts & then like I said start increasing your reps. There are quite a few exercises you can do to increase your strength & tone. Right now I would stick with the leg lifts & add in situps within what ever range of motion & reps you are able to accomplish.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. And, best of luck. Do not get frusterated - it will come faster than you think if you keep working at it. I have quite a few women that I train & this is not an uncommon issue I have had to deal with.
