NEED HELP injection site somethings wrong

Thursday i did a 2.5 ml shot in my left glute and ever since then it has just been painful,the site is swollen up and is sore,but it is not red,hot feeling or anything,just swole up and sore,how long should i wait till i go to the doctor for this?i used the same technique as i always do and have not had a problem,does anyone know what could be happening to me?it has not improved since thursday at all.

Gotta know what it is - that makes a BIG difference in what is a "normal" amount of discomfort.

Depending on what you used Id say if it not red and hot leave it alone. If the site isnt getting worse than leave it alone. Sometimes if you use too much oil and inject it to fast it builds up in the site which takes awhile to go down. I myself have knots and lumps every cycle from either hitting the site too soon again or not using 1.5in needle or because i injected to fast. I have had what your talking about and that will remain there for a week or more. If there is no pain than its a simple buildup of oil that will dissolve in a matter of time...................later

Sust does that to me. I get big knots that hurt for days. If you mix with other gear and inj in two different sites at half the volume it will help. I'll do glutes half in each side on Mon, quads half on each side Weds, and delts half on each side Fri. That way you only hit each site once a week and at lower volumes. It is a lot of stickings but it helps in reducing the pain from one shot at a larger volume.

i agree. just keep an eye out for classic signs of an infection!! good luck.

Not not red or hot no infection 90% of the time. When you inject something into you, even more when it is oil based it takes a while to be obsorbed. Thats is propably what is going on. Just give it some time and it will slowly go down.

i used to get lumps of fluid (oil) every time i injected fina into my delt. after 3 days it would go away!!! no worries bro!!!!
