Devon is a town in Pennsylvania and the horse show that's held in it every year.

Alexander, is a good name, don't think much of Devon though.

I hate cooked cabbage...lol.

Evidently, it didn't work for your mom, anyway...lol. All her babies were late. ;-)

So eat it raw........raw is even better. Cole Slaw

Alexander is a much better choice. :)

I absolutely love the name Devin. For some reason that name popped in my head as soon as I found out he was a boy, and it has stuck with me.

Then, I found out that a very sweet friend of mine has the middle name Devin, which I didn't know about him before. ;)

If he later doesn't like Devin, he can go by alex.

You gotta remember one thing about names ... in elementary school, asses get kicked over names (speaking as one who got teased to shit and back over her name). Boys are bit more prone to it than girls.

You know the variant you're choosing is way more popular as a girl's name? (it goes both ways):

I'm really traditional when it comes to names, because I did get teased about mine. I would rather have had a normal (common) name instead of one other thing that made me stand out.

But no matter what you do to make your kid fit in, be average/normal/one of the crowd, something always screws that up. Gods know that's what happened with my kid
