My doctors visit for PCT!

Eating will elicit an insulin response, which will lower your serum cortisol levels considerably. Which means, if you want to get a proper reading for reference purposes, don't eat.

ok......but the whole issue of whether I'm shut down, low test levels, etc. won't be f'd up...right? Why do we care about cortisol levels for this test?

Cortisol levels are a good measure of fasting catabolism, and affect "a whole bunch of other things". If you want to know whether you are shut down or not, it's very important to know if your body is catabolizing itself.

Plus, other things are affected by eating/fasting, such as blood glucose levels, mineral content of blood, etc - all of which are important to know, especially if you're coming off a cycle and need to see how your body is doing. Just grin and bear it - you'll only lose about three meals if you do it first thing in the morning.

3 meals = death......lol...

I plan on fasting.....I'll do it at 8am sat. morning.......how would morning cardio effect the tests? He did say I could have water..........

Put the cardio off for later in the interest of blood glucose levels (remember, some gear lowers insulin sensitivity, and you need to know where you stand).

lol @ jkurtz. Bro .. you are over reacting. fasting for 12 hrs is not going to do ANYTHING to you. You are not going to loose 5 lbs of hard earned muscle by doing this, nor will you loose 1 lb of it. Stop eating at 8:00 at night, and get your tests done in the morning on an empty stomach. Its that simple dood. Eat when you are done. No harm done, you wont fuck up your test results, you will keep your doctor happy, and you will hace ACCURATE results. Just do it, 1 day wont kill you.

What is your doc prescribing you? HCG?

and they say guys aren't thick headed. It's not hard eating for 12 hours. When i have to get a liver panel done, I stop eating around 10 at night, 2 hours before bedtime, I wake up around 8, take my test at 10. Not a big deal. It amazes me when a doctor tells a guy that he's hurting himself doing a particular thing, whether its drugs or aas, etc, and he posts in here asking us if he should continue on doing it. Simply amazing.. I'm not saying its the same deal with you, but I see it all the time in here.

I KNOWWWW>...................I was joking........................I'm going to fast! Just wanted to see why, but I understand.............never wasn't going to do EXACTLY what he told me to do, just wanted more info on the topic......deep breaths......

Ps. I'm still going to run beforehand..........
