Muscle torn pretty bad, should I go to the doc?

I went a little overboard about a week ago on bench press.

I can't do any upper body workout, on my right arm (outside portion) where my tri and bicep intersect midway is majorly fucked up. I can't pick up anything and it honestly hurts to drive a car or even use my keys to open the door, typing isn't bad or anything but any sort of fast movement or the slighest flex kills me.

I thought it would get better after a couple of days but I don't know...it feels like its not healing.

Update-

Been taking a rest on upperbody, arm is 80% or so...sucks because it won't heal anymore...one day it will feel aright and I'll do a set or two of moderate flat bench and the pain starts shooting.

What the hell already! Am I just supposed to play through the pain or get an xray or something?

2 options:

1. wait another 2 weeks and when it doesnt get better come back to EF and ask again

2. go see a doctor

You should go see a doctor. He's not going to amputate it or anything.

What have you got to lose, and potentially you could gain alot from going to see him.

The shoulder refers pain to the deltoid insertion which is on the lateral side of the humerus along the deltoid tuberocity. So, maybe it is a shoulder strain.

I do believe that if it has been torn for more than 10 days...they will not operate. I've been told that more than once.

Bruises?
