Morning Cardio Sucks!

The Man Child

New member
I just crawled out of bed about 10 minutes ago, and now its time to do 10, 110 yard sprints :( I have a empty stomach and my shirts feel loose today. I hate doing the damn cardio bullshit. Anyway, enough crying for me, when I come back I will be in shape (somewhat)!!

I feel your pain! I'm always really unmotivated in the mornings. I even have a hard time putting food in my mouth. Just tell yourself that if you don't do it then somebody else will. That always gets me really motivated.

That's what I'm saying! I figure there's always somebody trying to take what I've got, so I've got the keep up with the regimen. If you want to be the best you've got to train like the best!

Yeah mornings suck ass. I have to do the cardio around noon, cause it's just not gonna happen in the morning.

All I loose when I do AM cardio is muscle. Never will I bother with that S**t again. Post workout IMO is a much better time for optimal fat loss/muscle maintnance.

I have been doing morning cardio EOD for about three years and have been able to maintain muscle mass, and also stay relatively lean. I do think it is very important to eat a damn good meal about 30-45 min after the work out. It replenishes the body and doesn't let it catabolize. This is gospel according to me, however. It has never been easy to get up and do it but, damn, my days seem to go faster and I have a better attitude. Just some thoughts.

Try having to get up at 5am every morning to workout mon, wed, friday, and then cardio on tuesday, thursday and maybe saturday if I'm off. All b/c of my job that only pays 9.50/hour when I should be getting 14/hour to listen to dumb ass people bitch that their computer is fucked up when they caused it in the first place!!!! AARRGGHH  Sorry had to let that out.

No choice - PT at 0500 almost always includes at least a 4 mile run - compliments of the US Army.

Its definitely worth the price. I have been doing cardio in the evening for about 4 years. Now in the past month I've tried morning sessions and I'm visually seeing a difference.
