yea, i know a lot of couples who are divorced. its the starter wives syndrome. your young, think you know everything and only look at the good things that come with marriage and not the bad stuff like credit, saving, rent, mortgage, getting along living together, sharing your stuff, etc.. now saving isn't "bad" its just a hard thing to do starting out. i also see a huge trend of divorce because people decided to get married because of a child they had. they think its the right thing to do. my buddy back home did that and she went psycho on his ass. i told him don't do it but again, young and think you know everything.

I disagree based on what I observe in the online personals. They are full with divorced women 35+ looking for marriage. Or they all lie.
And personally I've had many single dates (i.e. no second date) with women 35+
they know I'm not settling down with 35+

As stated there are not very many women in the US who are sexually liberated enough to say to a guy that they just met and have ZERO interest in to say out of the blue, "Can you eat pussy?" Then propose that he finish HER drink and go have a roll in the hay...

Everyone should be free to choose whom they are attracted to and who it is they want for right now or for long term. Unfortunately so many men are still so hung up on the whole, "If she gave it up to ME so easily.... then EGAD she MUST be a worthless whore and only good for tonite. My best gf just turned 46 and like me, she is in NO HURRY to remarry... EVER. She has been happily divorced for over 4 years.

Oh yea, and she is as liberated as I.

We both remove sex from the equation right from the getco as WE want more than *just sex*. If we only wanted sex there was NO DOUBT in the dood's mind from the word JUMP. Sadly, though those were most often the cases where we were thinking to ourselves, "And I just bothered to get naked because.......?"

If more American women were OK with their sexuality then more American men would get waaaaaaaaaaay more ass and far less pressure for ANY sort of commitment after SHE got off.

(I may be wrong here) but I believe that when a mature man goes for so much younger women (we are talking early 20 to mid 20's) it is for one of three reasons primarily -

1. You want children.

2. You dont want to deal with baggage.

3. You want someone to dominate and control.


A woman 30 and up wont fit into any of those categories as easily as a much younger girl.

Not saying one is better than the other - just saying that the more REAL people are with themselves and each other, the quicker and smoother the path to happiness for BOTH.
