Very fair statement and I dont blame you for it. You deserve to have a happy family and I suppose this would be the best route for a man like yourself.

My Old Grump liked em young for number 2. He had plenty of baggage of his own and with really young girls it was all about FUN and the only baggage might have been their dopey bf's. LOL

My husband doesn't have a controlling bone in his body. We would have never gotten past the first phone conversation if he did as that is what repells me MOST.

I would not. Once will be enough. I will try anything once!

I have the same view on this as you do. I will do anything to keep my wife and I together..but if that day were to come for us to get divorced then I will prolly never remarry again. Fuck going through that shit all over again.

In this day in age I really don't see what the point of marriage is. I made a decision a long time ago that I would never get married. I just can't see any advantages to it. All I see are disadvantages.

Here's my motto:
50% of marriages end in divorce. If 50% of planes crashed, would YOU get in a plane?

While an amusing comparision.

You have more control of the success of marriage that you the plane - marriage is human error, the plane could be functional failure and/or human error.

:chomp:

I think sometimes people focus on "marriage" and "the wedding" and not on the relationship.

It was a big deal to hear of a divorce where I grew up. It's different in the city though. I love how people scoff and roll their eyes when someone says society is deteriorating but the proof is all around us. Few people seem concerned. Just "roll with it." Sad.

People like to run from their problems, moreso in recent times. I'm guilty of it myself in certain aspects of life. I'm still far more disciplined than average though.
