With the bands on there... what's the total max poundage if you were to use the full resistance of the bands and the weight? curious how that works... and does it get harder as you reach the apex/lockout on Bench? Like chains do?
I was using the smaller purple bands, doubled up tho so they have tension even on the bottom of the lift...

It works on the basis of chains, as the bar gets lower to your chest its easier, when ur going through the apex of the lift it is already getting harder by the inch. so basically every inch the bar goes up another 10-20lbs is added to the bar. (in theory)
Bands IMHO should be used for speed/explosive training. I feel the bands and the 2s pause i did will really help me explode through the lift and get good momentum on heavy heavy lifts.

So when i am able to really explode through the lifts w/ decent weight ill chnage the bands.
