Ok,

Log update!

Long time off, still pondering if i should pro-long it another 2 days. I feel BETTER. Full functionalbility of the right shoulder.

Ate like a pig last couple of days. Why? So i can heal! More Food = More amino acids/nutrients. I ddint eat CLEAN CLEAN, but i ate enough clean food...

So i prob gained some weight, wich is fine with me =]
Abs still visible

I just finished up my 9 weeks of 5x5. I GOT ALOT STRONGER. BUT the last couple weeks took a toll on my joints, so event tho i say im better, i know theres a risk on injury. So its time to go light and work with bands for the next couple of weeks.

Im gonna stick with the 5x5 workouts still, but im going to go lighter on the bench Since its my shoulder taking a beating.

I will also sqaut w/ the bands
And i will also deadlift w/ bands.

Let my body heal up good so i can really kill it when i come back full force...

Ill be designing a routine in the weightligting forum, so if u wanna help lets do it!

Bandwork:

Ive been debating on using bands for some time now. I really like thier concept. For the next 4 weeks i will be using bands on my Bench on Mondays/Fridays AFTER my main LIFT. I will use the bands on the SQAUT on WEDS only since my SQUAT is still going up very well.

New Excercises:
I did the Barbell Row (90 Degrees like Glen says) And it felt like it hit the lower back/middle back alot better then the T-bar Row. I figure to hit my upper back Chinups/Pullups should be suffice work since my upper back is blown up.
Goodmornings, WOW is all i can say, first i felt like i was doing it wrong untill my buddy came and i just told me to go alittle wider with my feet. I didnt over due it at all, since it was my first time But this will be added to my arsenal on Mondays.

Im in such a good mood from yesterdays workout ill throw some extra stuff in this thread!

Recipes Made this week:

Chocolate Protein Whole Wheat Pancakes
1.5 cup of bisquick whole wheat pankake mix
5 scoops of whey
1 Egg
1 1/4 cup of milk
Vanilla Extract
Cocoa Extract Powder Unsweetened.

Mix together and make pancakes.

I just had some that were leftover this morning and let me tell you, they smell great and taste great. The cholcolate flavor is def there and i use SUGAR FREE LOW CALORIE SYRUP (15cals for 1/4 cup)

Today is ABS. I want a 45min Ab routine. I will make one up utalizing needsize ab's as the main ab workout.

Thanks all!

45 minutes???? condense that for me to 15 minutes, and one I can do at home and I am all over it, I am getting bored with mine! :)

Nice workout bro!! Glad that you made the switch to GP ROWS  I love 'em! :chomp:

With the bands on there... what's the total max poundage if you were to use the full resistance of the bands and the weight? curious how that works... and does it get harder as you reach the apex/lockout on Bench? Like chains do?
