=] nice bro, nono i have the stock BOV's of course, but no aftermarket ricer ones. Smart man DJ, u seem to know alot about EVEYTHING lol

ive had my 300zx, TT in the high 11's in englishtown NJ, but thats high 11's.

Still pulls nicely tho, gotta love it, too bad its red and its a cop target.

lol, I know very little about a few things, this just happens to be one of those things.

Years ago I had a 91 AWD talon (before all the ricers started driving them). Very easy car to work on (except for timing belt changes, they were a bitch), very easy to mod. Had a home made boost controller (ball and spring), turbo was right there, easy access. And the AWD kicked ass 6000rpm clutch drops, all 4 tires screaming... the good old days.

And then I found motorcycle racing (road, not dirt)...sold the car for a truck to take my bike to the track and that was it.

ya, I've always loved the 300zx's, even the older single turbo ones... actually I love all the Z series cars like the 240 etc. Not a fan of the 350Z though.

The 300xz tt is a sweet looking car but I hear they're a bitch to work on. High 11's is fast for a street car and not everyone is capable of making a 11 second pass in a car that is capable of 11's, especially with RWD off the line. Takes a good driver.

And I don't think the color matters, it's a 300zx, it stands out no matter what, you don't see many of them around any more.

Ok, back to lifting...

NICE nothing like a AWD car bro, ive driven a new WRX and never felt a car actually hug a turn like it did ya know.

Yea the 300zx has NO hand room in the engine bay, thats why labor cost me so much. i dont have the time/space to keep the car disabled for days lol

I LOVE the Z series too, 240-300zx, the 350 looks like a bug to me.

i love the old datsun Z's for the look its a cool lookin car for an oldie.

yea, its real hard not to burn rubber on the line, gotta really know when to drop the clutch ya know.

TALONS are fast bro, i tried racing one on the highway once, fucker toasted me, not because of the speed, but because of his handling, now my car has handing too, but at 100+ u really need to KNOW what ur car is capable of, my car is real low so it helps alot, but that fuckin AWD was fast. didnt loose by much, but i guess u can say i loss. My boy had one that was fallin apart, but it was still fast as shit.

Bike racing huh =]
what kinda bike do you have now? I want a R1 so bad man, or CBR-RR 600 for my first bike.

Well on the highway in a straight line the AWD is useless and actually slows the car down. My buddy had a FWD with similar mod as mine and I'd smoke him in the 1/4 form a stp, but he's pul on me from a roll and on the highway.

I have a little old school 89 fzr400. It's not fast in a straight line (my car was faster, lol) but I can ride the thing. When doing track days I'm always passing peeps on litre bikes in the turns.

Self whoring time....

Here's a pic of me passing my buddy at beaver run on the outside of the hairpin, he's on a 99zx6. He's got about 60 or so more hp then me, he caught back up on the straight, lol.

Here's me at my first track day, dragging pegs and the exhaust through the turns. The bike has clearance issues. it was pretty before I crashed it a few times.

Here's a pic of me trying got go around my buddy on an r6, he's a good rider, I was faster through the turns, but couldn't pass as he's pull away on the straights. The guy in the back is on a nice ducatti, we both passed him in that turn.

And one of me racing... I'm #216 They make you wear that vest if it's your first tie racing. I came in 3rd my first race and 6th the next day... the vest came off after that, lol

If you do get a bike be smart about it, start with a 600cc, you do not need a litre bike and will just get yourself into trouble. even the newer 600's re too much for beginners if you ask me.

I've had too many people crash on the street behind me because they were on a bigger bike riding above their abilities trying to keep up to someone on a little 400cc bike. It's just not worth it. Learn to ride, don't let ego get in the way and always, always wear full gear, even if it's 100+ outside, full leathers or stay home.

Quite honestly I'd recommend trying got find nice little 400cc sport bike to learn on. I've learned more, faster on this bike then I would have on a r6 or litre bike.

Ok enough preaching.. word of warning though, once you geta bike you won't want to drive the car. I was told that and said it would never happen... but it did.

As far as the newer sport bikes go if you're going to get one, go to each manufacturer and sit one them, see how you feel on it. Most places have days where you ca test ride them etc. All the big 4 (yamaha, honda, Suzuki, kawasaki) are so similar that unless you're a pro racer you won't notice the difference at all, especially on the street. They all have tones of power, more the enough to get in trouble I first gear, and they handle 100x better then my old school bike, lol

Get the one you feel the most comfortable on.

And for gear I'm sure you've seen the pics on the net of what happens if you don't wear gear and go down. Good job on the back protector. Make sure it fits right, try it on with your full suit and then sit on a bike to make sure it fits properly.

ya, we've all been there. Those aren't actual races, they're more stupidity races. We've all done stupid things though, lol

The pics are form a professional photographer that sits in the corner and snaps pics as you go by. Then sells the Cd for like $30.00. good quality pics.

At least it's cool off topic stuff like cars, bikes and trucks. Unlike mine which had roughly 5 pages about oats, lol.
