First i want to stop a sec and say thanks for Nelms and BigTT for their input on my Log. Really good advice, from both of you. Thanks! Im def gonna start the 5x5, when my routine stails now, (or end of May). BigTT, agreed with your sense of training, and will be incorporating what you mentioned into my Lifts.
CHEST DAY, was supposed to be Chest + Shoulders, but Chest workout was long/tough so we ended it short.
**So you all KNOW the number is for the LAST REP in my Set, my sets usually are 4 sets. But some excercises like the flat bench i like to get a good warmup before pushing it.**
Chest (BEAT PR for FLAT!)
Flat Bench: 240x1
Flat Bench w/ Thin Black Bands: 115x7 115x7 135x5 65x7 (Did these with a 2s pause on top and botom, competition style)
Incline Dumbels: 90x5
Cable Crosses: 110x7
Decline: This was an amazing decline workout, basically, went till failure each set, THEN, after failure, partner lifted with me, DID Negative, Lifted, DID another Negative. On each Set! Decline: 135x15 145x10 155x5 155x5.
Amazing, havnt felt a pump like that in a while.
I went for 245 for my max, but couldnt quite hit it. Always next week(s). I was close but just couldnt get it passed sticking w/o my spotter. This really pissed me off, but ill get it next week. Guarenteed.
Calories: 3200+
H20 Intake 1Gallon(i know little low)
Today is LEG day for ME. Im going to be squating, but im gonna ATF sqaut, all the way down. I usually box squat and can box squat 310, but i want to hit my legs lowers, so i would have to drop weight a little and see how heavy and how low i can get. If i dont like them, ill go back to my box.
