Tried Dept. of Health to see if my name was on a birth cert. I have the mother's full name but without the child's full name they can't help me.

Looks like this may be the closest newspaper of record. If she was 17 she probably lived with her parents and perhaps the announcement was in this paper. Or perhaps her wedding annoucement

Something else just occurred to me. You may want to call the State of Washington's Child Support enforcement division. If she named you as the father, they may be interested in hearing from you. If she changed states they may not have forwarding information, but it may be worth a try.

Be advised that you may be liable for substantial back child support.

Bro, I found her full records. That is how I got the proper spelling for her name.

Went to the Puyallup Hearld and found nothing as far as births during that time frame. Plus 411 gave me a wrong number and actually had no listing. the saga continues
