I hear ya on the clothes problem.. i have just recently discarded over half of my wardrobe.. not fun for the wallet.. but it is nice to have new clothes (yea, im a walking vagina, but i do like new clothes).. anyway, try Tommy Bahama XL's fit nice (im 5-11 245lbs) and they go up to XXL..

Bro in same position as you at 5'10" and 200lbs. Somebody mentioned express for dress shirts and their ones that say "stretch" on the tag do a nice job. It is interesting because I dont consider myself big at all, but am already having probs finding good fitting clothes.. I am wondering what the hell I'll do if I put on another 20 - 30 lbs as I'd like to. Somebody here has got to know a good place to find some fashionable threads for muscular, but not tall guys. I love my gym shirts and all, but sorry I want something a little nicer to go out in. Maybe we have an untapped market here. Good business oppourtunity if anybody has a way to do it.
