bunny, i'd have to say that judging from the few posts i've read from our polish friend, he seems to be coming off as a bit condescending- "sweetie". lol!

Of course i am condesending to people i argue with, how are you supposed to argue by elevating the status of the person you are debating with? Humm sweetie?

When it comes to pregnancy!!!! Currently this girl I work with is in a situation where her boyfriend impregnated a girl on a one night stand while he was intoxicated now she is suing him for child support after he told her he did not want the baby and would help her to put it up for adoption/abortion whatever the case may be. She instead has this kid and is using it to trap him into paying half of his wages to upkeep this lil bastard child. She also has a friend that got pregnant and the guy that got her pregnant PAID HER THE MONEY to have a abortion and she instead went out and spent it on drinking and drugging and then didn't have money to have the abortion now here is the kicker, she has the kid and is now SUING HIM FOR CHILD SUPPORT for the kid that should have never been born. I think the whole legal system regarding child support is so fucked up its beyond control, it takes two people to make a baby but the women get all the say in the matter no matter if we want to have the child or not. We have NO RIGHTS when it comes to this we either pay or get put in prison I think its one of the biggest loads of shit of all time. I know some people out there are in this situation or have to agree with me on this. Personally if a bitch trys that with me its the "right hook abortion clinic" or I will just tell her straight up "listen sweetheart, i don't want this kid and I won't pay for him" if you try and trap me in this I will just let you know this much. "YOU CAN"T COLLECT YOUR CHILD SUPPORT IN HELL" =).

Maybe so. However, why do I feel as if you are attacking my statements for some reason? If you disagree with something that I or anyone else have said, then state your opinion and your reason. That is how we learn from each other.

I'm not familiar with any of his other posts. He may be a realist in general, but I was pointing out that the one statement that he made was typical of someone with a male chauvinistic point of view. That is all.

No I am not attacking your statements. I am just pointing out the fact that I feel as though he is stemming from a realist's point of view. No offense. Perhaps you should read some of his other posts....they are quite informative. I guess (some) men have different ways of expressing themselves.

It is only condescending if you let yourself take it too personally. This just shows me how very differently men and women are whilst debating...men will curse and let hell rip and women will try to keep things clean without getting personal...LOL

I am not a chauvinist, i am a realist just like Bunnymt said. I am sorry that when reality is spoken by a male it comes across as chauvinistic. I have no regards for people who want extra credit for things in life they are SUPPOSED to do. Re-read my post about the joys of pregnancy experienced by some women despite some aches and pains. Those are women i respect, they do not cry, "look i am a woman and i am pregnant, kiss my feet for all the torture i am going through", please give me a break. Women i respect are those whom take the time of pregnancy as a blessing and a time of joy for the things to come and could care less about crying for recognition because of their torture.

Recognition, everyone wants it but few can actually earn it.

anytime anyone calls me sweetie and it's not in an "i'm your friend and i care" context... then i take a bit of issue with it. that's all...

Ok, buddy, I thought this thread about women who had unplanned pregnancies? They are the ones who will likely have a less 'easy' pregnancy than those women who embrace and are grateful for their pregnancy. My personal opinion is that pregnancy should be a happy, wonderful and joyous experience, but it isn't realistic to expect that all women who have unexpected pregnancies to turn their resentment into joy.


(btw, 'buddy' was meant as an affectionate term).
