Male Abdomen Lipo??

guys, i have gyno surgery about 3 years back, now i am plannin on getting my ab lipoed. i have heard lipo causes weight gain in other areas of the body ?

2 confusions:

1) not sure if lipo causes weight gain to bring the body back to its "weight set point" ....
2) weight gain after lipo during recovery time causing other areas to gain that weight.

im concerned if i get my stomach lipoed, could i gain weight in my chest that was lipoed/excised 3 yrs back?

i work out and have a disciplined life stlye in terms or eating.

any ideas?

If you are what you say you are, a disciplined person in terms of eating and lifestyle, then I believe you should not worry too much about these concerns because if I'm not mistaken, after a liposuction procedure, you will need all the discipline you can get in order to maintain what you end up with and food intake control is naturally a given. Just know that getting a lipo is not really something you can consider an easy way out since you will have to take a lot of care to keep what you'll have.

From the doctors I consulted, weight gain in areas not lipoed have not bee a concern. As for the diet, yes, you need to maintain that plus working out. I look at it like a tool. It will give you a better starting point so that you can concentrate on the areas that need more help.

once the fat is sucked out of the area, those cells are gone..but that's not to say you can't grow more. I've heard about people thinking if you get lipo in one area, another part of the body will start growing fat in a weird way...I think that's a joke. If your predisposed to love handles and lower ab fat, lipo may be your only way to get the look you desire. Use the lipo as a springboard into a great exercise plan and low carb diet.

Age and hormone levels that decrease with age can cause areas to not loose fat weight like they used to. A doctor I consulted said it isn't possible to put on weight just becuase you have had lipo. On the other hand, thinking you can eat like a pig after lipo will just fill up the remaining fat cells you have. So, lipo isn't the magic bullet, just another tool at our disposal to achieve the look we strive for by body building, eating right, taking "vitamins", etc.

its an old wives tale..it makes no sense that a guy with a nice body and one trouble spot gets a weird, new fat distribution after lipo. My partner had lipo, and the biggest problem with his situation was the doctor was offering a kick ass price but I believe he did a lackluster job because in his mind he gave it less value than his high priced procedures. I don't know if anyone has done this before, but I would gauge a lipo value by the amount of fat they sucked & it would be a great piece of mind if you could get the guy to commit to atleast ***cc of fat being sucked out of you because they do measure the amount they take out....

Continue with the healthy living most importantly diet and you will be fine.
when you resort back to bad habits,,,the fat can find you again.

well i woudl say with diet you cvan fix it. if you nee dsergery and dont eat right then its just gonna coem back.
basicly what im saying is if you have belly fat already its there for a resone and lipo isnt going to change that reez.
personally i think its a stupid surgery, somthing ether diat can fix or you just cant stick with it, then whats thepoint it will eventually come back. again this is JUST my OP on this, im not attacking you.
i wish you the best of luck.

Eat less calories than your bmr 5 days a week. You won't gain any weight. In fact, you won't even need lipo. I've never met a fat person who ate healthy and exercised regularly. Ever.

work those calories - it's cheaper :)
