I heard about a place in NYC that has models that cut your hair and pool tables and they serve you beer and you either like buy a membership for $1,500/year or it's $140 per haircut... J. Allen's or something

what the hell is a model?

Sounds like cosmoticians cut the hair. Maybe they paid a couple photogs and call themselves models?
