Why don't we just ruond up ALL middle eastern males? Oh yeah, they started doing that last year.

After Oklahoma bombing -- did they capture and shoot all white males? No.

After the sniper killings -- did they capture and execute all black males in washington? No.

Despite your holier than thou attitude, if you were a cop working in London, 2 weeks after an attack perpetrated by a certain ethnic group killed 50 citizens...1 day after an attack by a certain ethnic group was attempted...and you see a person from said ethnic group near a subway dressed and acting suspiciously, you follow said person, order him to stop. Hearing this, the person runs....you order him to stop again...he continues running towards a sub full of people...again you order him to stop...yet he continues onto the sub...knowing full well that if he does indeed have a bomb that can be triggered with the touch of a button...what do you do?

Answer: You shoot the son of a bitch.

I dont see how the cop did anything wrong based on what I have read.

Again, at least in the US, if an officer of the law believes that an individual poses an imminent threat to the public around them, they are authorized to use deadly force if the individual does not comply with the officer's demands.
Based on the past 2 weeks in London, I dont blame this officer. I blame the suspect.

Exactly, one who did not comply with the officer's repeated demands and, in the mind of the trained offcer, may have posed a signifcant threat to the public based on the current alert level and intel he had available.

If this is how it happened, it was clean. I knew people would start screaming genocide over this. One person was killed. He knew what he had to do to avoid that fate. None of the victims of any of the bombings had that luxury. He chose his fate.

BOMB == SHOOT TO KILL

NO BOMB == ARREST, TRIAL, JURY CONVICTION.

The cops arguments of "I think the guy had a bomb?" are right up there with incompetent cops proclaiming "I think the black guy had a gun".

I hope they interrogate this thoroughly and see just how exactly did they arrive at this "We think he has a bomb" scenario.
