Listen to the requirements of this undergrad geography class i took

i took it this summer thinking it would be a piece of cake... let me tell you it wasn't here's what had to be done in 2 months.


12 2-3 page chapter summaries

10 one page reaction papers to a newspaper article dealing with geography

6 2 page virtual log papers...

1 3 page introduction summary

6 1-3 page video reaction papers

1 midterm 9 pages... 100 questions

1 final 9 pages... 100 questions



this class was fucking ridiculous... i honestly spent an hour or two a day doing work for this class... plus it is taught at a local community college.... what the fuck does this professor think??? we have nothing better to do in the summer than write papers??/

i ended up not doing the video reaction papers cuz i would have to watch a 10 hr documentary and then write my reaction to it... which would suck... it's worth 48 points out of 352 for the class.... i don't mind if i get a C cuz i am just transferring it back..

doesnt look all that tough to me. i have had classes with FAR more work.

you should have known they cram all of that shit into a short period of time during the summer sessions.

well one of my friends say a summer class at this college is so easy... it's usually just a mid term and a final... so that's what i had planned going in.... i really didn't have the time to do all this work this summer... i've been so busy.

"Reaction paper" is sooooooo much bullshit.

"Oh, well we want you to read or watch something and then write about your reaction to it. How does it make you feel, what does it make you think about?" Half the time you damn near fail them untill you learn to "react" to them the way the professor/TA wants you to.

Oh well, I thought only my liberal-pansy ass college did them, glad to know they have them elsewhere.

basically a reaction paper is a way for the professor to make sure u read or watched something... i hate professors!!!!!

basically i read the entire 300 page book, went on the stupid website and read the stupid virtual logs and then ended up typing out what i read in summaries.
