LIFTING STRAPS! BeSt LooKiNG I have EVER seen, by far the STRONGEST and...MUST READ!!

i think forearm size has more to do with genetics than whether or not you use straps. ive used straps since i started deadlifting and not a day goes by that someone doesnt say something about the size of my forearms.

oh and cytomel, good point man i see people using them for EVERYTHING IN THE BOOK. from curls to military presses (why?).

I think its kinda dumb when you see guys doing benches with lifting straps around the god damn BAR !!! haha, or you see the little 130 lb kids who are just startin to lift doing curls with the straps around the dumbells !!

I graduated to straps for DLs a while ago. Problem is, I was doing the DLs one day with the straps adjusted wrong (more stress to the inside of the wrist than the outside) and the top of my left hand went numb. I guess I damaged a nerve. I continued to lift with straps(being careful with the orientation) for a few weeks and it didin't get any worse or any better. So In my switch to sumos I have been trying to go strapless. But I am pretty much at my max for grip strength.

I feel I need straps because I have an avulsed tendon in my left hand. It always fails first on everything from shrugs to DLs to even pull ups on a thick bar.

Anyways I might go with a padded one in the hopes that the padding will protect my bad nerve.

Chalk works much better for me than wraps. I use to rely on wraps for anything over 405. Now, I only use chalk and my grip never fails. Almost DL'ing 6 with no grip problems.

Metal GEar, I am a pretty big dude, I still need to get bigger though !! You know that REVERSED ANOREXIA SYNDROME !! HAHA. I am amazed at the shoulder presses you can throw up ! How the HELL do you do so MUCH ?!?! What are your stats, height weight and age ? Joncrane, the padding in the straps is good and thick, these are the top of the line when it comes to straps bro. Period.
Also, Metal gear, It looks like you got a big back , if that's you in yur pic. I am trying to develop some massive upper back size, My upper back and bis are the hardest for me to gain on. Right now I do Pull ups and heavy pulldowns as well as Pullovers. What the heck do you guy's do for a huge uppr back ?? Heavy 5-6 rep sets or strict 8-10 rep sets ?? I am stuck here.. I always hit my shoulders harder than any bodypart, they are my trademark, I wear size 54 jacket because of it. I switch every few months from military press to dumbell press, I don't go all the way down to tear up my rotator cuffs and I do heavy side latterals, with 70-75 lbs. (Along with front and bend over raises)

And yes, that is me in the picture, I'm about 10 lbs bigger now, that was take when I was 242 lbs. I'm now slightly over 250 lbs., 5'11 and about 7-8 % bodyfat without dieting or cardio.

For Upper back thickness: #1 builder is bend over barbell rows, Heavy heavy T-bar rows (6-7 plates), and 1 arm dumbell rows. Any of those will give you the thickness. I alternate weekly between those 3. For the middle back thickness, seated rows, heavy. I do about average of 8 reps on most excersises.

Thanks for the tip bro. I guess the pull ups I am doing are not cutting it. Guess I should add Bent over Barbell Rows as Well as One arm dumbell rows. Your a big fucker dude. Thanks alot and get big !!!!!!!!

So yes, it can, and has been done.
