hey everybody.

couple of quick easy questions. first off, i am lactose intolerant. so i use designer protein for my shakes because its the only powder that i have seen that explicitly states it is lactose free. are there others? i have no problem with the designer, tastes good and not too expensive, but if there is something better then i would like to know, and what about the bars? i usually eat pure protien bars but it sucks having to take those friggin lactose pills every couple hours.
second. i use the "time release" designer. so it says that it gives a sustained release of protien in your body over time. whats the consensus on how well that works? i ask because i have started drinking a 3-scoop shake when i go to sleep and wake up. close to 60g of protein. i have been working out hard four times a week and gaining 1-2 pounds of muscle ( 6' 180 , pretty lean) but to get in the correct ratio of protein to body wieght with my schedule a 60g shake is the best option. do you think my body is able to absorb all of it?
thanks for your knowledge.
piece, 4est.

Most good protein powders/drinks will state they are lactose free from what I have seen on the labels. Some may not.
