Kris Dim has Heart Attack !!!!

Story from Muscular Development...

Kris collapsed yesterday and had emergency heart surgery to repair a split in his aortic valve. The split in his valve caused a significant stroke that could have caused significant damage or death.

Kris is speaking and has controlled movement of all limbs and appendages.

As quoted by Kris' workout partner: "I am kris's partner at his personal training studio and unfortunately the rumor is true...Kris went down yesterday at the studio and had emergency heart surgery to repair a split in his aortic valve...they thought that he was gonna be paralyzed because he did have a pretty significant stroke but i just visited kris and he is moving all limbs and he is speaking and coherent. They gave him a 10% chance of surviving the surgery but the big guy pulled through and it truly is a miracle. If there are any questions post them on here and i will do my best to answer them as the information comes my way; thank you and God bless."

We at MD wish a speedy recovery to Kris and best wishes to his family.

I'm on needles and pins waiting for his publicist to come out with some BS about it being a genetic deformity since birth...

he's younger than me, for the love of Pete. thas' what the healthy sport of bodybuilding can do for you.....

He's was starting to really emerge as of late with some top 10 placings. I wish him well.

It has nothing to do with any of the dygs he took. It just happens sometimes. it may have been genetic or disease on his valve.

I suppose theoretically you could be right. A recent prospective echocardiographic study in infants showed a prevalence of abnormal aortic valve in 7.1 per 1,000 male newborns. Still, why do we see so much "genetic heart disease" in professional bodybuilders? IMHO it is the drugs, probably not the type but the amounts and the duration. If not a causative factor, the HTN, arrythmias, and other heart probs seen with roids/clen/E{A wouldn't help the situation.
