Im currently on a ckd (cheat day every 7 days) diet and it has been working great until I decided to try ALA. I searched on these forums and found that many people use ALA to bypass the bloat that the "refeed" day usually brings. Well, my refeeds definately bloat me but the water is out in a couple of days max. This Saturday I decided to use 1 gram of ALA with each high-carb meal during my 8 hour carb-up. The results have been terrible. I got super bloated on Sunday like I had carbed-up for a week and its now Tuesday and the bloat has not gone down even though I resumed cardio and the keto diet on Sunday morning. My question is this, when will the ALA be out of my system? I think its making me actually retain major bloat. I mean I was ripped on Saturday and now I look like a sack of water after one lousy refeed day. I can't believe it. Please help, thanks
