I am fairly new to weight lifting, only been doing it for a couple years...

However, I am very curious to know how often "you" change your workout routines?

I try to change pretty often but what do the rest of you do and can you help me find the optimal (if that exists) time lines.
 
If you do a workout, and you find that you're not a little sore the next day, your body's gotten used to it, time to change it around a little.

But don't go nuts and destroy your muscle fibers either. Anything that makes you sore means you need to let your body rest and repair the muscle tissue.
 
every 3-4 weeks is a good time to change your workout routine....
